Dani's POV
"You know Will, I have a really hard time believing that JP took your phone and texted that you broke up with me." I fire at him, my hands on my hips.
"It's the truth Dani! Why won't you believe me? Will runs his fingers through his hair.
"I don't know what to believe with you." I answer.
After my wonderful vacation, I did eventually have to come home. To this. Walking through the kitchen in Will's house, I sit at the counter. Will's always been rich, but sometimes it gets to be a bit much. I don't go to his place often. He lives in a nicer neighbourhood close to mine. But he lives in the kind of fancy house with big property and a garage that's separate from the house.
Everything about his house is perfect, it kind of makes me uncomfortable.
"If I believe you Will, you can't pull crap like this anymore." I tell him, he nods.
"Just don't leave me Dani." he takes my hand.
"I don't like how we keep running around in circles, making the same stupid mistakes." I say, he purses his lips.
A sudden wave of guilt washes over me when I realize I haven't told him about Jeremy....
"Will?" I ask, looking at our joined hands.
"Yeah?"
"You remember how we agreed to be honest with each other?" I gulp, terrified of what his answer will be.
"Yeah....?" He asks, dragging it out.
"In Florida, I made out with another guy." I confess. He stands completely still.
"It was that geek Jeremy wasn't it?" he asks, his teeth clenched.
"Will...." I choke.
"So you can flip out on me, but when you kiss another guy it's not a big deal?!" he yells, standing to his feet.
"Will, I'm sorry!" I exclaim. He pauses though I can see his hands are in fists at his sides. Will strides through the kitchen, not looking at me.
"I thought you dumped me and he was there and it was wrong! I'm sorry! You're right, I had no right to yell at you after what I did."
He turns around. "I'm right?" he asks. I nod.
"Yeah." I put my hands in my pockets staring at the floor. "Don't get used to it." I mumble. He instantly calms.
"Please don't kill Jeremy, he didn't mean any harm. I made the move not him." I say, Will nods.
"You guys didn't...?" he asks his voice grave, my eyes widen.
"No! No no no...we just made out."
"Okay." he says, still calm. But I can see a small amount of anger left in his eyes.
We're both silent for what feels like forever.
"Maybe we should slow down." I suggest. He looks up.
"I don't want to break up." he says.
"Me either, but we need to calm ourselves. We're only fifteen." I say. He nods.
"Yeah. We just need to tone it down a bit."
"Okay." I agree, taking a step back.
"I'll see you later." I say. He nods.
"Don't break anything, I feel like you're holding your anger in till I leave." I advise, stepping back, closer to the door.
"No." he says quickly, pursing his lips.
