I'm awakened a couple of hours later by the sound of a vehicle approaching, feeling incredibly warm. I look around, quickly getting a mindful of now last night's events. I glance at my watch and the time shows 3:34a. Still dark out.

As my eyes adjust to the light, I see that Harry is the source of most of that warmth. Sometime during the night, he must've gotten a blanket and some pillows returning to our position prior. I move from my straddled position - removing my legs from both sides of his torso - and go to turn off the Law & Order rerun, already turning red.

The sound of laughter - a boy and girl's giggle - quickens my movements and I break into a panic: they're finally back.

"Harry!" I whisper yell, gently shaking his arm. He moves slightly.

"Harry! Please get up! You have to go!" I say, just a little bit louder weary of the outsiders.

"What. . . kicking me out so soon?" His voice is silk on my ears, despite its grogginess.

Charming even fresh out of sleep. He looks drowsy, pouty. He rubs his large hands over his face, groaning.

I look at his exposed chest nostalgic of its warmth.

"You have to leave! Kate and Alex are here!"

The mentioning of Alex's name seems to wake him up dramatically.

Shuffling, he grabs the blankets on the couch and follows me as I run upstairs. The bell rings. Why would they ring the bell?

"Shouldn't they have keys to their own house?" Harry questions behind me, fully awake now.

"Yea. . . they should," I say, voice jumping with the inclination of the stairs.

"How am I supposed to make it out of here unseen?" He asks, shutting my bedroom door behind the both of us. He drops his shoes to the ground, sliding them on his large feet effortlessly.

"It's still dark out, so that helps. You'll have to climb out of my window," I say, gesturing towards the large window.

His face contorts into a look of horror.

"There is a large tree to the right of the window. It's very easy to climb down, I do it all the time."

His face turns humorous and he opens his mouth to speak - most likely something humiliating - before I shush him. Now is not the time.

"Go," I start. "I am going to go downstairs to let them in."

As I'm opening the door, he speaks up. "Not even a kiss goodbye? Where are your manners?" he speaks and I can tell he's still in a playful mood. His words both thrill and hurt me for the second time. I turn around to see him already halfway out of the window.

I laugh slightly as he hits his head and wave goodbye, thanking him for tonight. I'd like to think he meant what he had said.

ALEX AND KATE ARE SOUND asleep by daylight. Apparently, I wasn't the only one that had an interesting night last night. As soon as I let them in a few hours prior, they both were stupidly intoxicated. I was surprised that Kate even picked up a bottle, but then again, I did too a couple of weeks ago.

I was only able to understand very little out of their drunken slurs. If I understood correctly, Alex spent the night in jail, Kate was a busboy, and items were lost in a lake. I'll have to get the gruesome details at the end of the day when they're both out of classes.

I - for the first time ever - had to skip school today due to a 'sudden illness' as far as Kate knew. The real cause of my sickness, however, was due to Harry's little sprinkler stunt last night. I asked Kate to pick up any work I might not have done, but choose not to fret as I am a week or two ahead in my studies anyways.
