I hear Jax mutter something that sounds like 'what's done is done' before he offers me a water bottle, walking over to the little blue cooler too retrieve two.

Harry said he'd ruin me?

In what way?

He dated Amy?

My mind is racing uncontrollably at the new information. I groan at the irony of the situation. It just seems like the closer I get to Harry the less I know about him. My eyes advert to the dark haired girl making out with a different guy now.

Doesn't she have any self respect?

I feel sick to my stomach as pictures of Harry making love to her cloud my vision. I quickly take a long drink from the cold water bottle once Jax returns.

"Thirsty, eh?" he jokes lightly, but I'm in no mood for laughter. I skip the time to process my next words as they tumble out of my mouth.

"I want to know more," I rush out surprising him with my eagerness. He continues immediately unfazed.

"The Harry I know is not kind," he says looking at me seriously. The intensity of his stare makes me shift uncomfortably, but he doesn't let up.

"Harry's done some pretty fucked up shit," he spits nastily.

"I don't know if it's all true. But he doesn't have the best track record," Jax continues while my ears perk at the familiar line.

"He's been with countless women, using them for his pleasure, and then tossing them away when he's done with them," he says looking over at Amy sympathetically.

"I don't know the gruesome details of their relationship," he continues gesturing towards the girl.

"You'd have to ask her. . . or him for that."

"Looks like we missed the fight," he chuckles lightly, looking over at the two beat up boys. The sun is no longer radiant in the sky. It feels like I just got here!

"Let's get you home."

A wave of disappointment washes over me at this. I want to know more about Harry! All of this new information makes my head hurt slightly, but I can't just assume that everything Jax is saying is the absolute truth. Even he mentioned that he was unsure of some of the rumors he'd heard about the boy.

I stand up brushing the pebbles off my bottom before I notice two brown eyes staring directly at me.

"Fuck, you're hot," Jax blurts out before he realizes his words. He doesn't seem to regret them though. Instead, his gaze is incredibly lustful as he looks down at me.

I blush deeply at this, but it feels wrong somehow. I break his gaze, unsure of what just happened, before I mutter a small 'thanks' awkwardly.

Picking up my water bottle, I start in the direction of Kate's car, but not before I feel a rough hand spin me back around.

"If I were you, Parker. I'd get as far away from Harry as you can,"

"He'll only hurt you," and with that, he lets me go, walking towards his car with a glaring Amy.

THE DRIVE home is quick and I don't feel like talking to anyone once I make it. I beeline straight to my room grateful that no ones in the living room.

"Park?" Alex's sleepy voice sounds behind me just as I'm about to enter my room. I turn around silently groaning as his messy hair comes into view.

"Hi," I breathe irritated.

I just want to be alone right now.

"I just got a text from Jax asking if you made it home safely?" he questions sure of his information, but I guess the context didn't add up?
