"The Secret Solstice is one of the biggest music festivals in Iceland," Samuel begins.

"It's one of my favorite, because it's one of the only festivals held to highlight the Midnight Sun. It's usually held in June, but this year it's been moved to July due to technical difficulties. You guys got lucky," he finishes voice filling the car.

Harry and Samuel have gotten along so well so far. It takes a lot for Harry to open up to a person, trust me I know, so seeing him open up so quickly to Sam makes me happy. Although he's never mentioned it to me, I know that Harry is still bothered by what to call his sexuality. And I also know that he's worried as to how people will react once we return home. I mean I worry too. We've only ever been a thing out on the open road where we can quite literally run without regret if faced with negativity. I think that the fact that Samuel is, indeed, a straight man whom could care less about who he loves provides Harry with a different kind of comfort that he greatly appreciates. I just hope that our friends and family back home welcome us with the same kind of acceptance. I fear for my relationship with the boy if they don't.

"You are just going to fall in love with this year's line up," Noah exclaims enthusiastically beside me.

As Harry and Samuel have made a connection, so have Noah and I. I take back what I had previously thought about him. He's a ball of personality! He's seriously one of the funniest people I know. He reminds me of Alexander in a way.

Alex.

I miss him so much. A lot has changed over the last couple of months. I confronted Kate about the night at the restaurant in Roswell and she couldn't deny the facts: they were official. I've always suspected that Alex had the hots for Kate, but never in a lifetime did I think she'd return the feeling. But if there's anything I've learned from traveling the world, it is that love is blind.

We still haven't talked about that night. I text him and we've FaceTimed a couple of times since California, but conversation has been extremely delicate. Hopefully, things will get better when I'm finally back home.

"Are you okay?" Kolbi asks, looking concerned.

"What?" The car is silent now and I'm just now noticing that everyone's eyes are on me.

"Are you okay," she repeats.

"Noah asked you a question and you just completely zoned out," she finishes laughing lightly.

"Oh," I realize, shading.

"What'd you say? Sorry, I was daydreaming."

Laughing, he says, "No worries. I just asked if you were excited for the festival."

"But of course! How could I not be?" I exclaim genuinely excited. This causes Noah to snicker at me, earning him a playful punch in the shoulder.

BEFORE THE FESTIVAL even comes into sight I can hear the sound of music playing from a distance.

The setup is actually pretty cool. The entire festival is open and there are lights strung about everywhere. It's faced right in front of this gorgeous collection of mountains giving it this really Indie aesthetic.

"Welcome to the Secret Solstice."

MARTIN GARRIX, JONAS BLUE,
Morcheeba, Ása. The line up is incredible! When we arrive at the festival the music is so loud that it's nearly impossible to focus on anything other than the beat of the song. The others look so unfazed by the pounding of the music and I start to think that it's just me. The boys are beyond wild as they push through the crows to the moshpit that's starting to form.

Kolbi and I stay behind afraid of being trampled and focus our attention on the band performing. She wraps her arm around my neck and begins shouting the lyrics to the song, causing me to laugh and join in. The Earth is literally vibrating below our feet. If someone far away wasn't aware of the giant festival occuring, they'd for sure mistake the vibrations for an earthquake.
