Chapter 17- Right time

Taytum's POV:
I woke up and remembered what happened yesterday. I got out of bed and went o shower. I went downstairs and to get breakfast. My phone beeped.

Hey Taytum. Are you coming to work today?
Yeah I am. Why?
Oh I just wanted to speak to you.
Ok see you there.
See you there then.

I got my bag and went out my house to my car. I started my engine and headed to work. I parked my car and got out as well as locking it. I got to the doors of the building and Owen was standing there. "Are you ok Owen?" I asked. "Yeah just waiting." He said. "Nice. Who for?" I asked. "Just Henry." He said. "Ok enjoy. If you need me you know where I will be." I said.
I walked to the physio room. Jody wasn't there yet so I got everything ready. 5 minutes pasted and Jody walked in. "So, how was the date then?" She asked. "It was amazing.", "Did you kiss?", "Well we nearly did but Jack Nowell came and kind of spoke just as we where about to but yeah. It was fun though." I told her. "Nice." She said. Jody pit her stuff down and sorted paper out.

I was doing my own business when there was a knock at the door. "Come in." Jody said. The door opened and Henry's head popped out from behind the door. "Hey Henry." I said. "Hey Taytum. Can I speak to you please?" He said. "Yeah sure." I got up and as I was leaving I gave Jody a smile. I got out the door and Henry was standing waiting for me.

We walked out to the field and sat on the bench. "So what did you want to say to me then?" I asked. "About yesterday...", "Henry. It was amazing." I butted in. "Was it? I tried my best." He said to me. "Yes. What you do make me happy." I said to him. He looks and me and smiles. I smile back. The two of us headed back inside, hand in hand. We walked inside so we where just standing just outside the physio room. Before going back in to the physio room to finish what I was doing, Henry gave me a hug. I hugged him back and our hands were still interlocked. I looked up at him to say something but before I could, Henry put his lips on mine. I kissed him back.

"Why do I always come at the wrong time." I hear Owen say. I smiled and we pulled away. "Sorry Owen." I told him. He nodded and walked past us and went into the changing room. Mine and Henry's hand were still interlocked with each other and he pulled me into a hug on last time before changing out of his kit. Before Henry left I gave him a quick peck on the lips. "Thank you." He whispered in my ear. "Bye." I said to him. "Bye Taytum. See you later." He said letting go of my hand walking down the hall and into the changing room. "See you later." I said to myself quietly.

I walk back into the room where Jody was waiting for me. "Sorry I was longer than I thought I would be.", "So how did it go?" She asked. "Well, he wanted to talk about yesterday when we nearly kissed. We walked back hand in hand and stopped outside the door. I was going to tell him something and we kissed. Owen just came by. Before Henry left I gave him a quick peck on the lips." I told her. Jody squealed a bit. "Omg. You kissed." She said. I nodded and got my bag ready to go home and get ready for tomorrow's match.

I said goodbye to Jody and walked out to my car and drove home. As I got home there was a car parked near my house. Henry got out the car. "Taytum I forgot to ask you something earlier.", "Yeah?", "Would you like to be my girlfriend?" He asked.

"Yes."
