Chapter 90- Eleanor Rose

Taytum's POV:
Henry managed to get to the hospital in time. "Hey can you please help, my wife is going into labour." He said to the receptionist. "Yes right away sir." She said. Two doctors came rushing over where I was standing. They put me in the wheel chair and wheeled me to a room. Henry followed after. We got to the room and the doctors sorted me out. Henry stood by my side while holding my hand. He bought my hand up to his mouth and kissed it. I smiled. I got my phone and texted my mum: Mum. I'm in the hospital because I'm in labour can you come please. I sent the message and right away I got a reply: Ok sweetie. I will be right there. Thank you for telling me.

There was a knock at the door. "Come in." Henry said. Owen, George, Jack and Jody walked in. "Hey." I said. Jody comes over and gives me a hug. "You'll do great. Can't wait to meet the little one." Jody said. "Me too. In a few hours." I said. Everyone got chatting about the baby and other stuff. The door slowly opened and in walked my mum Emma. "Mum." I said. "Hey darling." She said coming over to hug me and kiss my forehead. "I thought dad would be with you." I said. "He had to stay home with Chelsea. She didn't want to be on her own but they will come to see you in the morning." She said. "Ok. Thank you mum." I said.

The doctor came in to do a check up on the baby. "All fine. Should be ready to go in an hour or two." She said. "Have you guys decided on a name yet?" Jack said as the doctor left. "Yes we have." Henry said. I nodded because I didn't really want to talk. I started to get sleepy which led me to fall asleep. I slept for sometime not getting woken up by anything. My sleep I wanted got disturbed by me waking up with a sharp pain. "Where has Jack, Owen, George and Jody gone?" Was the first thing I said. "George and Jody have gone home so has the other two. They all would have stayed but they had to get somewhere." Henry said. "Ok." I said.

I drifted off to sleep again for about 5 minutes when a painful sharp pain went through my stomach. "Ah." I said in pain. "You ok?" Henry asked. "I think it's time." I said. Henry opened the door and went to the waiting room where my mum was. "Emma. It's time." Henry said. She got up and went into the room. Henry came back in the room with the doctors. My mum was on the right side of me holding one hand and Henry was on the left side holding my other hand.

The doctors started to get everything ready. I started to get nervous. "Taytum you're going to do great." Mum whispered in my ear. "I love you." Henry said. "Ready. 1...2...3..." The doctor started talking.

--Time Skip--

"Congratulations." The doctor said handing the baby to me. "You did great." Henry said to me. "Wow." I said crying with joy. Henry and Emma were crying with joy too. It was the happiest moment. "She is so adorable." Mum said. I gave her a kiss on the forehead and then handed her to Henry. "Do you have a name for her?" The doctor asked. "Eleanor Rose Slade." I said and looked up at Henry. He nodded in approval. I smiled. Henry handed Eleanor to mum. "Well done." He said. "I couldn't have done it without you." I said. Henry leaned in to kiss me. The doctor came back in. "Sorry to disappoint you but we have to take the baby to do further tests." She said. "For how long." I asked. "An hour." She said. "Ok." I said. The doctor walked out the room with Eleanor. "I'm so happy for the two of you." Mum said. Henry came and sat on the bed next to me. I rested my head on his shoulder and slowly fell asleep.

I woke up early in the morning and saw Henry asleep in the chair next to the bed. The time was about 9:30am so it was still early morning. I looked around and my mum wasn't in her chair. The door opened quietly and mum walked in. "Did I wake you?" She whispered. "No you didn't." I said. "When can I see Eleanor?" I asked. "Soon. Dad and Chelsea will be coming in a bit." She said. Henry slowly woke up. "Morning." He said in his sleepy voice. "Morning." We both said. Mum got me and Henry breakfast from the cafe so we didn't have to move. "Thanks." I said.

"Knock. Knock." I heard someone say. The door opened, then in walked dad and Chelsea. "Hey guys." I said. "Hey. How are you? We got you some flowers." Chelsea said. "Thank you." I said. Henry took the flowers and put them in a vase. Chelsea gave me a hug and dad gave me a hug and kiss on the forehead. "Can we see her then?" Dad asked. "Yeah sure." I said. Henry got up. "I will go get her." Henry said. He went out the room and to where Eleanor was. He came back with a little bed that he pushed into the room. I sat up and put Eleanor in my dads arms. "I can tell she is going to be a daddy's girl when she's older." Dad said. "I thought she would be." I said. Dad handed back Eleanor and Chelsea had a turn.

Chelsea gave back Eleanor to me and I gave her a bottle. "Right. We are going to leave you guys now. Have a nice day and we will visit you at you place sometime." Mum said. "Ok. Thank you for coming." Henry said. "Thank you." I said smiling. My parents and Chelsea left the room so it was just me and Henry and our little baby. I had Eleanor in my arms and Henry got his phone out and took a photo of us together. A doctor walked in. "Hello." She said. "Hi." Henry said. "Since you and the baby are doing well, you will be dismissed from the hospital later in the afternoon." She said. "Ok. Thank you." I said. "We get to go home." I said to Henry. "Yep. Home time." He said. I giggled at him.

A/N: Their daughter has arrived. I am writing up to chapter 100 and might stop after. Also, there may be and extra 10 or 20 chapters.
