Chapter 80- Positive

Taytum's POV:
"Are you sure your not pregnant?" Jody asked. "I'm not really sure." I said. "Well I can quickly go to the shops and get a test." She said. "Yeah. Just to be on the safe side." I say. Jody left me and I watched Tv also checking my social media. I wait patiently for Jody to arrive back. She came back with the test and handed it over to me. "Thank you." I say giving her a hug. I go to the bathroom and do what it says on the box. I come down the stairs with the test in my hands and wait 2 minutes for it to show the answer. I put a timer on my phone so I won't forget to check it. I sat down next to Jody and watched TV.

I was too locked in the TV when the timer went off. I got up and walked over to where the test was. Jody got up and followed behind me. "So?" She asked. "I think it says I'm pregnant." I say with a smile. "Omg. Let's see." She says. I hand her the test and Jody smiles. "Wow." She said. "How am I going to tell Henry." I say. "You can tell him tonight when he gets home." She said. "I will. You can tell George but make sure he doesn't tell anyone else because I want to keep it a secret for a bit." I tell her. "I promise." Jody said. I gave her a hug. "Thank you. I don't know what I'd do without you." I say to her. "Anytime." She said smiling.
Jody stayed over for another hour to keep me company.

"Bye Taytum. Congratulations." She says before going. "Bye. Thank you so much." I say. I wave goodbye to Jody as she walked out the door. I carried on watching TV until Henry came home. Soon after Jody left Henry came through the door. "Hey babe. How you feeling?" He asked coming to sit next to me. "Much better. I also have something to say." I said. "Ok." He said looking into my eyes. "Well Jody came over today to keep me company. I told her about feeling sick and bad stomach pains. She suggested something, so she went to get it." I explain to him. "Ok." He said in a bit of a confused face. I got up and took the test from the side in the kitchen and came back to sit next to Henry.

I took the test out of my pocket and gave it to Henry. He looked at it and the had another look to double check. "Wow." Is what he said. "I'm going to be a dad." He said in a quiet tone. A tear fell down his cheek. "Yes. An amazing one too." I said. He put the test down and pulled me in for a hug. He kissed me and put one of his hands on my stomach. Henry lowered his head to my stomach and spoke. "Hey little one I can't wait to meet you." He said. It made me giggle a bit. I can't wait to see our little child.
