Chapter 107 - Visitors

Taytum's POV:
I fell asleep on Henry's shoulder. I felt a tap on my shoulder and I woke up. "Babe, Eleanor is out of surgery." Henry said. "Can we see her?" I said. "Yes we can." He said. Henry took my hand and led me to her room. She had a tube coming out of her mouth and her eyes where closed. I walked over to her and took her hand. I held her hand in mine and kissed it a few times. "You will be ok." I said. Henry got a chair and sat next to me. "She will be ok. She's a fighter." Henry said.

I stayed with her as Henry went to get some food and a drink. I don't know if Eleanor is just taking a nap or she is in a deep sleep. I hope it's just a nap. Henry walked back in and handed me some food and drink. "Thanks." I said. I ate a bit. "Is Eleanor having a nap of is she in a deep sleep?" I asked. "She should be having a nap so she should come around soon." Henry said. "Ok." I said. A few doctors came in and out of the room to do check ups on Eleanor. I held Eleanor's hand in mine hoping that she would wake up.

I felt her and twitch in my hand. Her eyes slowly fluttered open. "Mu-mummy." She managed to say as she woke up. I leaned over and gave her a hug. I hugged her for sometime. "Darling its ok." I said trying not to cry. Henry walked in with a doctor. "Daddy." Eleanor said. "Hey sweetie." He said giving her a hug and a kiss on the forehead. I smiled. The doctor came into the room. After the check up, "Eleanor should be allowed home tomorrow morning." He said before walking out. "Did you hear that Eleanor. You get to go home tomorrow." I said. "Yay." She said.

I sat on the bed with her. Henry sat on the other side. "I can't wait to see my new brother." Eleanor said. "Neither can I. Won't be long now." Henry said. I agreed. The baby kicked. "I think he heard us talking about him." I said rubbing my stomach. "Let me go get Eleanor a colouring book and some colours." I said. I walked out of the room and to the shop. I walked in and saw a familiar face.

"Jody." I said. "Taytum, so good to see you." She said. "What are you doing here?" I asked. "I heard Eleanor was in hospital so I came to visit." She said. "Thank you." I say. "I see that this little one is going to be here with us soon." Jody said referring to the baby bump. "Yeah soon will." I said. I paid for the bits and walked back to the room with Jody. We walked in together. "Hey Eleanor." Jody said handing her a teddy bear that she had bought. "Thank you." She said. I placed the colouring book and colours in front of Eleanor so she could colour if she wanted to. "How have you been?" Henry asked Jody. "I've been great. Been a bit busy though." She said. "I know how you feel." He said.

Jody soon left after a while and the three of us soon fell asleep as well.
