Chapter 98- Friends

Taytum's POV:
Henry and I headed back up to London. We spent a few weeks with our families so we decided to go visit a few of our friends in London. Starting and ending with the England rugby squad. The baby sitter was looking after Eleanor so she wasn't with us. I walk down to the physio room and saw Jody. "Hey girl." I said. "Taytum. Long time no see." She said. "I've missed you." I said. "Me too. I've just been so busy recently I haven't been able to keep in touch." She said. "It's ok. Same with me. I have some news to tell you." I said. "You're not pregnant again, are you?" She said. "No. I'm taking a break from being a physio so I can spend some time with Eleanor." I tell her. "I'm doing that to." She says. "Enjoy." I tell her. "Have you heard the news?" She said. "What news?" I ask. "Owen has a girlfriend and they are engaged." She said. "Omg. I need to congratulate him. Wow. I have definitely missed out on lots." I said. "You definitely have." She says. "We will have to catch up soon, but right now I need to find Owen." I say. "Bye." Jody says. I wave as I walk out.

I walk towards the hall and see all the players having a laugh. "Hey." Some of them said as I walked past I smiled at them to say hi. "Has anyone seen Owen?" I asked a group of lads. "Owen is over there." One of them say pointing in the direction of where he was sat. I walked over there and sat next to him. "Congratulations." I said. He turned around. "Taytum. Omg. So good to see you." He said giving me a hug. "You too. How have you been?" I ask him. "Good." He said. We all got talking about what we have all missed.

I stood up on the stage area and got all the players attention. "Hey guys. Some of you may know me some may not. I'm Taytum. I work as a physio here for this amazing club. These years I've been here have been amazing. I have no other words to describe them. I have met many new people and seen some old faces which have lightened my world. I want to say thank you to everyone who has made these the best years ever. I'm going to be taking a break from my job so I can spend sometime with my little one. I will be back don't worry. Thank you so much for everything keep it up and I hope to see you soon." I say. They cheer for me as I walk of the stage area. Some of the players gave me hugs and pats on the shoulder as they walked past me.
"I'm really proud of you." Henry said. I smiled. I quickly stopped Owen before he left. "Owen. Thanks for being the best of friends anyone could ask for. You introduced me to the man of my dreams and I want to thank you for doing that. Also for being a great friend as always." I said handing him some flowers. "Thank you for also being a great friend." He said. I gave him one last hug before saying goodbye to all my memories hoping to see them again soon.
