Chapter 36- Argentina

Taytum's POV:
2 days went by quite quickly to be honest. Henry knew I wasn't coming which made him a bit sad but I told him I would watch the match on TV so I wouldn't miss a thing. All the lads where in the reception of the building waiting for the signal to get on the coach. "Good luck Owen." I said pulling Owen into a hug. "Thank you." He said and headed out the door to the coach. I walked over to Jody. "Good luck. Enjoy and have fun." I say to her. "I will. I'm on the other end of the phone if you need anything." She said. I gave her a hug and walked over to Henry.

"Good luck out there Henry. You will do amazing." I say. "Thank you. I will miss you lots." He said. "I will miss you too. Text me when you arrive. Call most nights." I ask him. "I definitely will." Henry said grabbing his bag ready to leave. "One more thing..." I say. I leaned in and kissed him goodbye. "I love you Henry." I say hugging him. "I love you too Taytum." Henry says. "Bye. I will miss you. Be safe!" I say one last time. "Bye and I will miss you too. Bye." Henry said then he left the building and got in the coach. The coach soon drove off leaving me and a few other players and staff by ourselves. I went back to the room and carried on writing important notes down. It was really quiet without all the player coming in and out.

Hours went by and Henry text me: Hey. Have just arrived in Argentina and I am safe. I love you and missing you already. Xxx I read the message a few times and a few tears come to my eyes. I reply back: I am glad you're safe. I miss you too. Xxx I love you. Xxx I send the message and lock my phone. The door opens and I see Billy Vunipolla walk in. (Don't know how to spell his last name.)

"Billy what are you down here? I thought you were going with the team." I ask. "Well I was but I pulled out last minute because of an injury." He say. "Ok." I say. "So are you down to get lunch with me and a few others." He asks me. "Yeah. I have nothing to do so at least it will get me to do something." I say and get up off my seat. I walk out the room and follow Billy to get lunch. I finish eating lunch and I head back to the physio room.

I text Henry: Do you want to face time if you are free? I'm free so yeah. Xxx. I leave my phone for a bit and I get an instant reply: I would love to face time you. Also i'm sat on my bed waiting for time to pass so I can train with the others. I grab my laptop and press the face time icon and I click on Henry. I press video chat and wait for him to answer.

Henry answered the call.

Hey.
Hey.
How are you?
I am good but I have been better.
Nice. Got anything planned for later.
Uh no not really. How about you?
Might go out with the lads to train a bit then maybe go out for a meal with them.
That sounds fun. What you doing right now?
Talking to you and watching Haskell use banter against people. How about you?
Nice! Seems real fun. Nothing much besides talking to you.

We talk for sometime and end the chat because Henry had training. I pack away my things and head out the door. Before I went I quickly popped into the changing room to say goodbye to the other lads. I said bye and walked to the car to drive home. I drove home and got something to eat when I got in. I fed Frank and then fed myself. I lied on the sofa watching TV then peacefully drifting off to sleep.
