Chapter 4 - Lunch

There was laughter coming from the guys at the table and stories were told. I got to know a bit about the other lads around the table. It was fun to hear their stories. "So Taytum, tell us a bit about you then?" Danny asked. "I grew up in a small town near Wigan and that's were I met Owen. We instantly became friends. I started to play rugby since I was 12 and played ever since. I took a physio course for sport and really enjoyed it so I have a qualification to be a physio. I don't really play rugby that much anymore. I moved down here so I could find a job in the sports career. So that's my life." I told them. Some of them giggled. I looked up and saw Henry looking at me and we both smiled at each other. God he's cute! I thought to myself before getting snapped out of my thoughts by the lads.

The laughter started to grow when we all told funny stories of the past. I loved it. It was the best lunch I had with anyone. We all ate before we start talking again. "So Taytum, what are you going to do when you are here in London?" Ben asked. "Well I was thinking about looking for a job somewhere but not sure where yet." I said back to Ben. "Nice." Jack said. "Do you want to be a physio Taytum?" Chris asked me. "Yeah I would love to but I can't really find any jobs to do with it." I said to them. They all looked at each other and smiled. "What's going on guys." I asked a bit suspicious. "Oh nothing!" Owen said. They all got up and left me by myself at the table. I got up and walked out the room.

I think I need to find out why the guys where smiling after I said I want to find a job as a physio. "Taytum you have a meeting with Eddie the coach at 2:15pm." Owen said to me as he walked past with his training bag in his arms. "Ok." I said to him. I wonder what that is about. I stay on the grounds till 2:15pm and then head to Eddie's office.
