Chapter 102- Saying Goodbye

Taytum's POV:
"Do you have to go?" I asked. "I'm sorry but I have to. I have no choice. I was picked for the team." Henry said. "Ok, but you have to call, text or even Skype us." I said. "I promise I will." He said. "I'm going for a shower." Henry told me. "I'm going to see Eleanor then get her some breakfast." I tell him. I hugged Henry and then got out of the bed to go to Eleanor's room. I knocked on the door. "Come in." I hear her voice say. I walk in and go over to her bed. "Hi." I said. "Hi mummy." She said giving me a hug. "Had a nice sleep." I asked. "Yeah. Where is daddy." She asked me. "He is in the shower. He will be out in a bit." I say. "Ok." She said. "Let's go get some breakfast." I say to her. She hops of the bed and takes my hand as we walk downstairs together.

I made her some toast and made me and Henry some too. Henry came downstairs and into the kitchen. "Where's my little monster?" Henry said. "I'm here daddy." She said with a giggle. He picked her up and gave her a hug. "El, daddy has to go away for a few days." He tell he. Her face drops. "Will you be back." She asked. "Yes. It's for work. I won't forget about you or mummy. I will call everyday." He tells her. "Ok. Promise." She said. "Promise." He pulling her in for a hug. I smiled at the moment they where having. Henry pulled me in for a hug. It was a family group hug. We pulled away and Eleanor went upstairs to get ready for today. I followed up after her getting ready for the day. Eleanor was playing in the living room so I went to speak to Henry. "Hey babe. What's up?" He said. "I was thinking, Eleanor is starting school soon so I think we need to get something's for that." I tell him. "Oh yeah. Sorry I totally forgot." He said. "It's fine." I say. We sort Eleanor's school and stuff out so she is ready.

It was time for Henry to go so I went to go get Eleanor. I buckled her up in her car seat and then I got into the drivers side of the car. Henry put his bag in front with him. I drove to Sandy Park, where all the team are. We get there in time. Henry gets out and then I get Eleanor out of her seat. Henry leads us to where everyone else (the rest of the team) was. "I will miss you daddy." Eleanor said handing him a picture that she drew for him. "I will miss you so much as well." He said folding the piece of paper up. Henry picked her up and hugged her for a while. Father and daughter. I took my phone out and captured a picture of the loving moment. I will post it later.

Eleanor gets down and stands near me. Henry brings me into a hug and buried his face into my neck. "I'm going to miss you." I said. "Yeah me to." He said. "I will tell you everything that happens and Eleanor's first day at school." I say. "Please do." He said. Henry pulled me in for a kiss. We pulled away when we heard someone giggling. "Eleanor." Henry said. She came over and we all had a family group hug. Before Henry went he bent down to my stomach and kissed it. I had a bump growing. "I have to go now." He said giving the two of us one last hug and kiss before he went. Henry waved goodbye and got onto the bus. The bus pulled away and Eleanor and I got back in the car.

Henry's POV:
I got on the bus and sat at the back. I unfolded the picture and looked at it. It was beautiful. I smiled then folded it back up and put it in my bag. I looked out the window as the bus pulled away. Eleanor and Taytum where waving good bye.

Taytum's POV:
The bus goes out of our eye distance and we get in the car. I drive home and cook some food for Eleanor and I. "Daddy's going to miss the first day of school." She says. "I know he will but I have to take a photo of you in your uniform." I say. "Ok mummy." She says eating the rest of her dinner. I put Eleanor in the bath and then into bed. She fell asleep right away.

I sit on the sofa when I came back downstairs. I was watching of of my favourite shows when I heard a quiet voice. "Mummy." I hear. I look over and see Eleanor with her teddy. "You ok sweetie." I asked. "I can't sleep. I miss daddy." She says. "Come here." I say, she sits next to me and falls asleep. When I start to get tired, I carry her upstairs and into my room. I fell asleep with Eleanor beside me.
