Chapter 83- Scan Time

This chapter is going to be skipped to about 4 months time because of many reasons.

Taytum's POV:
Today was the day I was getting my first scan. I am excited but nervous. Henry thinks I'm having a boy and I think I'm having a girl. I don't mind if it is a boy or girl. Any would do. I dress into something suitable to go to the hospital in. "Henry. We have to leave in a minute." I said to him. "Yeah. I will be right out." He said. I got my stuff ready and waited for Henry. He came down about 10 minutes later. "What took you so long." I said. "I had to shave and I couldn't find the right t-shirt to wear." He said. I giggled. We walked out the house and to the car. I got in the car and Henry drove us to the hospital.

"The baby looks like it's growing." Henry said. "A lot." I said. Henry parked the car and we headed to the reception. He interlocked hands and we walked into the building together. I got to the reception desk and waited for the receptionist to know I was there. "Hey. How may I help." They said. "I've got an appointment at 11:30 to see Dr Green." I said. "And what's your name?" They asked. "Taytum Slade or Taytum Blackburn." I say. "It's under Taytum Slade." They said. "Ok." I said. "All booked in. Go down the corridor, turn left carry on going then turn right and there is the waiting room." They told me. "Ok. Thank you." I said. Henry and I took off going down the corridor to the waiting room.

We arrived at the waiting room and it was quite quiet. I sat down and Henry sat next to me. Henry put his hand on my stomach and rubbed it. "I can't wait to see our little one." He said. "Me too." I said. I got a magazine from the table and started to read it to waste a bit of time. "Taytum Slade." The doctor said. Henry and I got up and walked into the room. "So Taytum. First scan. Exciting." She said. "Yes very can't wait." I say. "How many months along are you?" She asked. "I should be about 4 months." I say. "Ok great. I'm going to get you to fill out this form for me and then we can get started." She said. Dr Green handed me the form and I filled it out with a little help from Henry. I signed it and gave it back.

"I'm going to squeeze some gel onto you bump. It may be cold so just be prepared." She said. "Ok." I said. She got the gel out and squeezed it onto my bump. It was cold. Like ice being put on you for sometime. Dr Green got the scanner and started to scan my bump. "So this is the babies head and there is the feet." She said. I looked towards Henry. "Wow." He said. "So the due date is going to be February 12th." The doctor said. "Ok." I said. "Would you like to know the gender of the baby?" Dr Green said. "Yes." We both said. She sorted a few things out and then began to tell us the gender. "So the gender is..."

"A girl."

I looked at Henry and he was amazed. "It's a girl." I said to him in a quiet tone. "I'm going to have a daughter." He said as tears fell down his face. I cleaned myself up and got off the bed that I was sat on. I gave Henry a hug. Dr Green printed a picture of the scan and what gender it was. I am so happy.
