Virgil Sanders was used to a lot of things and being Virgil Sanders was not one of them. Hearing his name was weird and still somewhat nerve-racking, he was used to being quiet and hiding in the shadows due to a fear of interaction - or rather a fear of messing up said interaction - and it was a lot harder to do those things when people knew who you where. He constantly found himself ignoring the others when they addressed him as 'Virgil' simply because it was such a strange concept, something he hadn't even dreamed about.

He found himself hiding in his room a lot more often, if only to avoided the endless and draining  social interaction with the others. Little had changed about his room, the clock still went by at a stupidly fast speed and cob-webs still littered everything, but the spider curtains where gone (just in-case Patton showed up again) and the card that Patton made him was on his wall.

He was in his room when Patton showed up to check on him. He hadn't left at all that day after all.

"Hey, kiddo, you in there?" The bubbly trait asked before opening the door and stepping inside. Immediately a light coating of eye-shadow was present under his eyes.

"You shouldn't be in here, its dangerous," Virgil said, silently telling the other to get out.

"I'll leave if you tell me what's wrong," Patton said, a stubborn smile on his face. Virgil knew he wouldn't get him to change his mind.

"Fine, but can we do this in the hall or something, I don't want a repeat of last time," Virgil sighed before walking over to the door and pushing Patton gently out. He didn't want to hurt him by letting the trait stay in his room longer than he already had.

"So what is up?" Patton questioned, grabbing Virgil's hand before pulling them both down so that they sat leaning against the hallway wall. It was strangely comfortable, but Virgil was anxious about being in a social situation that he hadn't planned on being in. Although he was glad it was Patton, spending time with Patton didn't drain him as much as spending time with the others did. It was weird though, with his bubbly and optimism Virgil expected him to be more draining yet spending time with him made Virgil strangely happy, despite being polar opposites.

"I don't know, its just... Having everyone notice me and call me by my name is... It's weird and different and I don't know how to act," he mumbled, voice so soft it was a miracle that Patton could hear him at all.

"Well that's normal, it's gonna take time to get used to all these changes! That's nothing to be ashamed of or embarrassed about," Patton said, words seemed to stick into his mind because he found himself smiling at Patton before blushing at the fact that their hands where still joined.

Neither of them pulled away, though a light blush graced Patton's cheeks. It was adorable.

"Y-yeah, thanks," Virgil said, his voice just as soft as before yet with more confidence. He looked at his feet to avoid looking at Patton and his cute face before feeling Patton's hands lightly squeeze his own. Tingles - like the little electric shock a plug-socket can give you - flew up his arm and down his spine, making his ears turn a dark pink.

"Um... is this okay? Do you want me to let go?" Patton asked and Virgil only shook his head before trying to hide his blush by burring his face in his hoodie. It didn't work.

"Is this okay too?" Patton asked before lightly kissing Virgil on the cheek, who's blush somehow managed to get darker.

"D-definitely."
