Complex issues

Prince was a very complex person, with very complex issues to be worrying about. He was sat in his room worrying about the most complex of his complex issues, debating with himself over both sides, over the advantages and disadvantages of both.

One was bold, passionate and so very Prince-like. It was signature, what he was known for and what he liked being known for. Sometimes anyway.

The other he loved dearly, it was constantly in his head, reminding him of how much he loved it. Yet it would be unusual for anyone to see him with it: he wasn't known for it and he didn't know if anyone would accept the change.

But they cared about him and surely that meant that they would continue to love him even if he changed. That is what family did after all... but the others never changed. They where all known for the same things since the beginning. Although, Patton wouldn't stop caring, he was too kind for that, Logan would just be confused and  pin it to an emotional thing that he didn't understand, and Virgil would be as (fake) edgy as usual and pretend he never cared.

His mind ran through options as he grabbed his sash and out it on, reassuring him that it would be okay because they love him. They loved Prince, not what he was known for but his personality and his quirks and his flaws, one little change wouldn't, well, change that.

Taking a deep breath he walked outside his room and into the Commons, where everyone sat.

"Awww! You changed things up a bit, Kiddo!" Patton squealed as he saw Roman. Logic merely raised an eyebrow before returning to his book. Virgil slowly looked at Prince before staring in something resembling anger at his sash.

"Is that fucking Royal Blue?"
