Guinevere was exhausted. She had to make sure the Knights would have enough food and clothing for the entire trip to help Castellum. She was so proud of Arthur. Uther would never have gone all the way to Castellum to make sure the people were okay. He probably would have said something like Castellum was on the border so it didn't really belong to Camelot. There was perhaps a time when Arthur would have done the same thing, but not anymore.
After Merlin came everything really changed. Morgana was happier, Arthur wasn't so stuck up, and Gwen too felt comfortable enough to speak her mind about important matters.
Merlin really was a bright spot for everyone, especially because he said he would leave a tonic in his room for Gwen because he knew she would be exhausted.
Gwen made her way to Merlin's chambers. She stopped at the door because she heard someone inside. Gwen pressed her ear to the door and listened to someone walking around in Merlin's room. Then she heard a crash and swung open the door.
"Morgana?"
