Chapter 12: New Friends

Laurie's POV:

I wake up with the sound of an air horn blowing next to my ear. I shoot up from my bed. "What the hell?" I yell freaking out.

I see Alexa on the floor laughing her butt off with the air horn on her hand.

"I swear I think I'm deaf." I complain still yelling. She still laughs.

I quickly grab the air horn off her hand and blow it on her face. Her covers her ears. "Oh god Laurie okay I'm sorry it's just it was really hilarious." She giggles.

We walk out of my room. "What was that for? And where did you get an air horn?" I ask.

"Well first of all you sleepy-head, it's one in the afternoon so I had to get you up and second, I went to the grocery store and found this. I thought it would be funny to use it." I roll my eyes playfully. "Ah you and your pranks."

We walk in the kitchen and I grab a glass of water. "Wanna go out for lunch?" Alexa suggests. "Sure. Wait let me get ready first." I go back in my room and check my text messages.

I check my chat with Daniel. 'Cool. Where are you staying?' 'Well I'm right now staying in a flat but where I'm staying, in LA but more specificly I don't know😅' I reply.

I go in snapchat quickly and see that Alexa shared the video waking me up. I laugh. It's actually very funny. But I have to payback.

I change clothes and grab some money. I go in the living room and hear Alexa talking to someone. I didn't hear anyone enter the house. Weird. I get closer and from behind I see it's a tall guy with blond hair and really fit.

I could hear he is a loud person. "Oh hey Kiwi. I think you know who Logan Paul is right?" Alexa says as she sees me.

The guy turns around and it's... the one and only Logan Paul. I gasp. "No way." I say shocked. This can't be true. "Yes way." Logan says with his vlog camera on his hand.

"Um hey. I'm Laurie Humbert by the way." "Hey Laurie. Or Kiwi should I say." I laugh. "My friends call me that. I don't know why though." "I like it. It's original." I laugh.

We are about to go. "Wait a second lemme get something." I run to my room and change my shirt with some of Logan's merch I stole from my brother.

I come out and see Logan vlogging. He then sees my shirt. "You in the Logang bro?" He asks at me. "Duh." I flip my hair. "Be a Maverick." I say to the camera. "Thats muh boii." Logan yells. I laugh.

We go out and walk in the street. "How did you two meet?" I ask still wondering how.

"Well I was in the grocery store and heard a plate break. I thought it might be Logan and went to check. And eventually it was. We talked and got along really well. And he said that maybe he could show us around." Alexa explains. "Cool." That's all I can say.

We arrive to In N Out. I love that place. It's also Daniel's favorite. Ugh. I should stop thinking about him. I facepalm myself mentally.

We eat lunch and once we finish we go to Logan's place. "So what are you girls doing here in LA?" Logan asks.

"Um well, I've been working on some music and I thought maybe here I can start with a music career." "Oh so I bet you sing well." Logan says. "I guess." I shrugg. "Maybe you could sing for me later?" he insist. "Maybe."

"And what about you?" He asks Alexa. "I've played some small parts in movies and TV series and I thought maybe here I could act for bigger parts." She explains. "Cool. Maybe I can help you guys." "Really?" We both say. He nods.

"Thanks. It really means a lot." Alexa thanks him. I nod. "Oh it's fine. You're cool. I see a big future for you girls." We smile.

We spend most of the day in Logan's place with George and Mark. They are hilarious. I am really happy I've made new friends.

Alexa and I go back to our flat that isn't far away. I receive a text from Daniel. I open it.

'😂 yeah LA is pretty big. But it's beautiful though.' 'You've been here?' I send. 'Actually I am here right now. I'm going to live with four other boys. We'll make music.' I stare at my phone. (I know they've reunited to make a band in September but lets pretend tey formed few months before.)

Daniel is here? Oh god. 'Cool. Glad you can do what you love.' I lock my phone quickly.

I'm still processing what Daniel just sent. What if I meet him in the street or anywhere?

I'm not ready for seeing him again. Wow. These past days have been full of surprises.

A/N: I'm sorry for not updating before I'm right now in a trip and it's hard for me to continue updating there is no wi-fi where I'm staying but I'll do my best to add more chapters.
