Chapter 18: Grocery Shopping

Laurie's POV:

We finish eating breakfast and talking about random stuff and it's now 9am.

We decide to grocery shopping because we are running out of food.

I go to get ready and wear a black short, blue tank top and white converse. I braid my hair and just put a little touch of make-up since I don't like using much.

We get into an uber and head to Walmart.

Once we get there, I get out of the uber and wait for Alexa to get a cart.

As we enter we see a group of five boys messing around ridding carts. I laugh recognizing who they are.

I tell Alexa who they are and to go towards them. I climb on the car and Alexa runs pushing me.

We go fast until we hit another cart. We burst in laughter.

"Laurie?" I hear Daniel say. He's in the cart we hit.

"Hey." I smile.

"Laurie!" Jonah comes running and hugs me carrying me out of the cart.

"Hey Jonah!" I laugh as he lifts me up.

"Hey guys." I says when Jonah finally puts me down.

They all greet me back.

"Well this is Alexa. Alexa these are the Why Don't We boys." I gesture presenting them.

They say hi and hug each other.

We all enter the grocery store.

Alexa and I seperated ourselves from the group a while ago and pick our food.

"Girl is it me or does Daniel looks really good now?" Alexa says nudging me.

I roll my eyes. "Well to me he always looked good but I guess." I turn around and continue walking and bump into Daniel.

"Umm sorry." I smile nervously.

"It's fine. And by the way thank you." He smiles.

Oh my. He heard what I say. I hear Alexa laugh behind me. I give her a death glare.

We continue shopping and hear some of the boys talk.

"Kiss my face." I hear Zach say. I wonder what they are doing.

I go and see in the aisle they are and she Zach holding something with 'Kiss my Face' written on it. Jack jumps on him and tried to kiss his cheek.

"I wasn't serious." Zach complains avoiding him. I laugh and see Daniel snapchatting them.

I shake my head laughing. I walk rooming around and see Jonah and Corbyn talking. Alexa went somewhere I didn't know.

"Yo she hasn't texted you back?" Corbyn says.

"No bro. She hasn't texted." Jonah says a bit sad.

"Mmm. That seems kind of fishy." I see Corbyn filming the fish right next to them. They start laughing and I join them laughing.

"What is this all about the puns?" I say giggling.

"I don't know it's fun." Corbyn says.

We continue walking around the grocery store making up puns.

I film Zach and Jack on my instagram story.

"Dang, dang." They both say as they look and a package with 'Dang' written on it.

I laugh and Zach winks at the camera.

I then film Zach asking him what to get.

"Uuuu this looks good." Zach says pointing at the freezer where there was a box in which 'Udis' was written.

I finish picking what I want and search for Alexa.

As I look at her I see Daniel crying on the floor.

I aproach him and realise he is fake crying.

I then see Jack and Zach snapchatting walking towards him. "Bro sweetten up bro. Sweetten up." Zach tells Daniel filming the box next to him with 'Sweetten up' written on it. Another pun.

I continue looking for Alexa and see her falling in line to check out.

I go to her and pay our stuff.

We had to go so we wave bye to the boys and tell them we'll see them this afternoon.

I am quite disapointed to leave them but we'll see each other later on the day.

I'm excited.

I am ready to start a new friendship with the boys as well as my friendship with Daniel all over again.
