Laurie's POV:

I remove the headphones from my ears as I hear someone gently knock on my studio door.

"It's open." I say, too lazy to get up and open the door.

"Hey there princess." I hear Daniel as he closes slowly the door.

"Hey there handsome." I say turning around on my chair. He kisses me. I can't help but smile.

"How are you feeling in this fine day?" I politely ask.

"I feel... I feel good nanananananaa." He sings loudly. I just laugh at his goofiness. I knew he would do that.

Once he finishes with his dance and show, he sits on a chair next to me.

"So. Whatchu doing?" He asks curiously stretching his hand out playing with a strand of my hair that is loose and then puts it behind my ear.

"Well you see, I'm working on some songs. You know I'm planning on releasing an EP right?" I explain.

He nods. "Do you have something done yet?" He scoots closer.

"Yeah I guess but I'm really sure and satisfied about it. I mean, it sounds good but I don't know if it's good enough." I sigh frustrated.

Daniel just stares at me.

I scratch my arm. "I don't know if it's good enough for the world to listen. I don't want to disapoint."

Daniel puts a hand on my shoulder. "The world doesn't have to listen to it yet. Um... What if... Would you mind if I listen to some of it?" He asks hesitantely.

"I don't know Dani." I answer looking down.

"Why not?" He questions quite hurt.

"It's because, you're my world. You mean everything to me. And I don't care what others say about me. But I do care what you would say. I'm scared to disapoint you." I confess looking down.

He lifts my chin up. "Laurie, I know this is hard for you, being in the public eye and other stuff, but I know one thing for sure. That you are never going to disapoint me. Ever. You're one of the most hardworking girls I've ever met. Even if you fail, you'll always try and try again until you succeed. You're a fighter." He pauses.

"And also, you are full of talent. The world doesn't have to expect anything from you because you are full of surprises. Laurie you are unique and loved. You are never going to disapoint anyone, or at least for me and the others that care for you." He smiles at me.

I smile back and hug him.

"And one last thing."  He says quietly.

I stare deep into his blue eyes.

"I love you." He smiles at me starting to lean in for a kiss.

"I love you too." I reply as we part away.

A/N:
