Laurie's POV:

Once I get there, I notice that the hotel administrator isn't the lady that gave me the clue before leaving, it's a man I've seen once before.

He greets me and I greet back. I get inside the elevator at before I press any button, it starts going up.

The ding indicates me that I got to the 6th floor, the one where my room is.

I get out and head towards my room. Once I get there, I notice that the door is partly open. I hesitatingly open it completely and reveal nothing but the bedroom, just as it was when I left.

I frown confused. What am I supposed to do now?

I room around for a while and see on the bed an envelope with a rose right beside it.

"Dear Laurie,
I would like to invite you to join me at 1:00 pm on the rooftop of the hotel :)
Daniel.
PS: Hope you won't stand me up"

I laugh to myself. Daniel has his way of acting as if we are not a couple, pretending I will stand him up for a date, that I will ditch him.

Which I think is cute.

It makes me feel like falling for him all over again.

I check the time on my phone and see that it's 12:57. Well, I guess it's time to head upstairs.

I reach up and see a beautiful view of London, painted with a slight blue sky.

I take a spin to admire the whole view and stop on my tracks when I see a smiling Daniel waiting for me, standing beside a set up table, with petals around it.

Yup. Cliché. Typical Seavey.

I walk towards him and he pulls out the chair for me to take a seat.

"Why thank you Mr Seavey." I smile at him.

"You're welcome my dear Mrs Humbert." He winks at me.

He takes a seat and calls the 'waiter' to serve us a drink.

I can't help but break into laughter as I see young Zach approach in a suit and a pad in his hand.

"What can I help you with?" He asks, acting all serious. I hold a chuckle.

"For me I would like to have a Coke and I guess that she would like a Ginger Ale?" Daniel starts off.

"You know me well Seavey." I smile, surprised that he remembers. I don't even know if I even told him that I love Ginger Ale.

"Okay then I will bring it to you guys in a moment." Zach says, notting something in his pad and running off.

"This is very original Seavey." I nod to myself. "Using your bandmates as servers." I chuckle.

"Well, in my defense, they proposed to do this." He says motioning the whole setup. "But I had the idea of the gifts and all of that." He smiles, proud of himself.

"About that," I comment, putting my hands on top of his. "Thank you." I smile. "For everything."

"Anything for you." He smiles back, intertwining our fingers.

We looked into each other's eyes for the longest time ever in silence. We begin to lean in but just as our lips are a few inches apart, we hear someone trip and fall down.

"Sorry! Sorry. Oh god this is so embarrassing." Zach facepalms himself, dripping with what I guess is Ginger Ale and Daniel's Coca-Cola.

It's Daniel's turn to facepalm. I can't help but giggle. "I knew this was a bad idea." He sighs playfully.

"Zachary Dean Herron! How dare you spill my drink?" I pretend to be mad but fail because I start laughing at the boy when he tries to get up but fails miserably as he slips and falls down again.

In the corner of my eye I see Corbyn and Jack walking towards Zach and help him get up. But as Corbyn comes closer, he slips as well and falls on his butt.

"Crap! This floor sure is slippery." He groans.

Jack rolls his eyes and sticks his two arms out to help the other two boys get up.

As Zach pulls on him arm to get up, he pulls too hard causing Jack to fall on top of them.

I laugh again and notice Daniel putting his head on his hands. "God this is ruined."

"Hey hey, it's fine. It's actually really funny watching them fail." I laugh. "I don't know what you guys would be doing if you weren't a band."

"Oof we would be starving to death." Daniel chuckles.

"Um sorry about my co-workers they are just beginners in this service so um, yeah." Jonah smiles.

"Oh because you have experience?" I smirk.

"Of course." He nods proudly. "Are you two ready to order?"

I nod and Daniel and I tell him what we are going to eat.

"Thankfully it's the hotel preparing the food if not, these boys would burn this hotel down." Daniel facepalms himself as Jonah leaves the table.

We spend a good amount of time talking and teasing each other waiting for the food.

"So are you ready for tonight?" Daniel questions, taking a sip of his drink.

"Tonight?" I respond confused.

"Bruno Mars?" He gives a hint.

"Oooooh YESS!" I squeal, causing Daniel to cover his ears but then chuckle.

"Oh god I am so ready but at the same time no because I really love Bruno Mars and like we are VIP we are going to meet him and I am not ready!" I rant, sighing.

"Wow you're such a fangirl." He laughs.

"Hey don't judge." I frown. "Come on everybody loves him."

"But do you love him more than you love me?" Daniel smirks.

"Boy you should know your limits." I raise my eyebrows.

Daniel pretends to be hurt and sheds a fake tear.

"Nah I'm just kidding babe." I giggle, blowing him a kiss.

"You better be." He leans in and plants a kiss on my lips.
