Laurie's POV:

We walk around the mall searching for the perfect target. I see a girl kind of my age and start to approach her. I walk a few seconds behind her and then quickly grab her hand. She looks at me weirdly and starts laughing.

"Umm hi?" She says shyly. "Hey sorry. I had to do this for a dare. My bad." I say smiling at her. "Oh it's fine. What's your name?" She asks me. "Laurie. What about yours?" I ask her back. "Krista."

"Well, nice to meet you Krista." I shake her hand. "Nice to meet you too Laurie."

I see five boys walking behind her. "Laurie that was lame." Zach complains. "Agreed." Jack crosses his arms in front of him. Krista turns around.

"Mm boys I want you to meet Krista. Krista, meet the boys who dared me to grab the hand of five random people." I introduce them. "Hi Krista." They all wave at her. "Are you the Why Don't We boys?" She asks her eyes wide open. "Indeed we are." Jonah nods. "You're a fangirl?" He adds.

"Well, I've heard of you guys, my sister is obsessed with you." She softly giggles. They all nod.

"So Laurie, time to hold someone else's hand. It please make it be more interesting by holding a male's hand. The first one was lame." Corbyn rolls his eyes. I laugh. "That was a warm-up." I state.

I sit on a bench with Krista looking for the perfect person for the dare. We quickly exchange number and wait. It's kind of weird I'm not really the kind of girl that make friends easily and it's kind of hard for me to socialize. We then see a tall blonde boy with green eyes walk into the food court. He's kind of cute. But also kind of familiar. Something about him makes feel like I've seen him before.

"There's the perfect boy for your dare." Krista points to the boy I was looking at. "He's cute." She points out. I nod. I stand up and the boys that are on the other side of the food court look up to me and see what I am going to do.

The boy is falling in line at Subway waiting for the waiter to take his order. Thankfully no one was waiting behind him so it was easy to approach.

I act like if I am falling in line and then grab his hand.

He looks up to me. Man he has beautiful eyes. But not as beautiful as Daniel's. "Hi?" He says looking at me. "Hey. Sorry I had to do this for a dare." I giggle. "Oh it's fine." He smiles. There's and awkward silence between us. "I'm Laurie." I say breaking the tension. "Nice to meet you Laurie. I'm Ian." He slightly chuckles looking at our hands still intertwined. I quickly let go.

"Um again I'm sorry." I say shyly. "Oh it's completely fine I swear." He states. It's his turn to order. I am about to leave but he holds my arm. "Wait. Um I know we just met but can I get your number? Maybe to get to know each other?" He asks shyly. "Yeah sure." He hands me his phone and I slide in my number.

"Great. Thanks Laurie it was nice meeting you." He hugs me. I am taken by surprise with the hug but I hug him back.

I walk back to Krista that is with the boys. She smirks at me.

"I see what you did there." She wiggles her eyebrows. I roll my eyes. I see from the corner of my eye Daniel disappointed. He looks like he is jealous. "Anyways. Up to the next person." I say trying to change the subject.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have to hold one last person's hand to complete my dare. The third person was a kid that looked younger than me but his reaction was the funniest so far. The forth one was a security guard that later threatened me to kick me out. And now I have one person left.
Krista left because she had to go back home and Daniel separated himself from the group to be alone for some time. He is still in the mall though. The other boys keep teasing me about what happened with Ian which didn't really bother me because I didn't feel anything towards him. We did shop for sometime because the boys were getting bored waiting for me to finish the dare to head home.
We room around with our bags full of clothes and other stuff we bought and see Daniel standing alone leaning his back against a wall. I have an idea. I give the boys my shopping bags and walk towards Daniel.
Daniel's POV:
From the moment Jonah mentioned the dare to Laurie, I knew it was a bad idea. I didn't really like that dare.
Laurie came back from the Subway and from what I saw, she held a boys hand and she gave him her number. For some reason I got jealous. Right after, I left the group and walked by my own. I needed to be alone.
Why am I getting jealous about the fact that Laurie gave her number to the boy- I think his name is Ian -and held his hand? I am confused with my feelings.
I try to forget about them scrolling through social media and checking some edits the fans made. They truly are talented.
I feel someone coming near me but I just shrug it off and focus on my phone. I feel someone grab my left hand (I was using my right hand to hold my phone). I look up and see Laurie grinning at me.
Laurie's POV:
I hold the hand he isn't using and smile at him. He is looking at fan edits. I can tell he really loves them. He looks up at me confused.
"That edit is so dope. The limelights are incredible." I state pointing at his phone. He smiles. "We they really are. We are so lucky. They are the best fans in the world." He says throwing a last glance to his phone and keeping it on his pocket. We still have our hands intertwined and Daniel squeezes a little more.
I smile looking at our hands and look into his eyes. We stare into each other's eyes for what felt forever. I have my hair in a bun and it is kind of messy and Daniel takes out his hand to remove a strand of hair from my face and tucks it behind my ear. I blush. God what is this boy doing to me.
I then see a flash that literally blinds me and my gaze shifts from Daniel's eyes towards where the flash came from.
