Laurie's POV:

I unlock the front door of my flat and expect Alexa to be here but then I remember she is over at Dylan's.

I change into something more comfty and go in the studio.

Inside there are a bunch of instruments such as a piano, an acoustic guitar, a bass, drums, a recorder, a cello and an electric guitar.

It's not really a small studio but it's quite tight with all of the instruments plus the mic and other equipment.

I sit on the chair in front of the desk facing on the beautiful view if Los Angeles.

I've been living here for months now and I've worked hard on some music but haven't released any of it.

Other than producing my own music, I've also written some music for other artists that aren't very popular but rose to fame pretty quickly after releasing a single which I helped on writting.

I'm a pretty recognised song-writter but I eventually want to make my own music.

I'm in the mood to write a new song but I don't have any inspiration.

I take out a notebook and start writting some ideas on the blank paper.

To be honest, I didn't put anything at all on the page. After an hour of deeply thinking about ideas the page is still blank.

I sigh. I put down the pencil I have on my hand and lean my head on my hand.

Then an idea flashes throught my mind.

I open my laptop and go on youtube. I type in 'Why Don't We' and search for some songs to listen.

I thought that maybe I can use some time listening the boys and maybe check their social medias.

The first song that popped on the list was the music video of 'Taking You'. I click on the thumbnail and wait for the video to charge.

It then starts to play.

The first thing that appears along with the song, starting off with a guitar, is Daniel with his sparkling blue eyes scratching the back of his neck staring right at the camera. I can melt everytime I see straight into those eyes.

Then apears Jack, Jonah, Zach and Corbyn if I got it right.

"I need you in my life like limelight
Wherever I go I'm taking you." Corbyn starts off.

"Whenever I call you my lifeline
I never hang up I depend on you." Zach continues.

"You fly with me so I call you red-eye.
Sky's so clear when you're the view." Jack sings.

So far so good.

"I only say it cause I really mean it,
I ain't afraid of how you got me feeling." Daniel sings and a bright smile flashes showing his cute tooth gap.

"Sky's so clear when you're the view.
Anywhere I go I'm taking you."
They all sing.

I'm mesmerised by the song and the video which is mostly dancing and fooling around.

I really enjoy the song and the video but to be honest, I get quite jealous on the part of the video where the fans get their hands all over the boys.

Once I finish the song, I click on a few other songs like 'Just To See You Smile' and 'Free'.

I listen to them a few times and by few I mean I spent the whole afternoon listening to their tunes and enough times to know all of the lyrics.

I know, I have problems.

I even bought on iTunes their EPs 'Only The Begining' and 'Something Different'.

I can consider myself like an official fangirl of them. An official limelight.

Wow. They have done a lot in just a few months.

Well, I did do a lot of things but I feel like I didn't do enough to feel proud about myself. I have a feeling that I can do more. Much more. I did do a lot of things but I'm not brave enough to expose it in public.

Right now, my favorite songs from the boys are 'Just To See You Smile', 'Never Know', 'Tell Me', 'Taking You' and 'Nobody Gotta Know', the one they serenated me earlier today.

I put on my laptop another song of them. What can I do, I'm now addicted to them.

I then hear my phone go off.
