Percy's Mother:
My Olcan has been at war more times than I can count. It's easy to brush it off, not to worry about wether he would make it back alive or in a casket. He's a survivor that one.
On the back mansion deck where the sun hit the trees just right, I lounged in a sun chair. Paper work scattered across my lap, a ball point pen in my hand. Just another day filling out pack paper work. Soon this responsibility will fall on Max, I couldn't help but grin at the thought. Finally, a woman to love my Percy. Now I won't need to worry about his sanity, or if he was being taken care of or not.
She's very innocent, fair complexion with a bridge of pretty freckles. Her personality may be soft, but it was also fierce. The pen stopped writing, memories of the past surfacing. My Angela was a lot like her, so innocent. Why did her mate have to be her destruction?
I forced back the tears, my daughter was dead to me.
"Luna," a security guard addressed me.
Looking up from my thoughts I focused on the seriousness in his voice. "What is it?"
He extended a phone to me, giving me a stern look. Cradling the phone to my ear I asked,"hello, who is this?"
The air in my lungs fled at the sound of a voice. "I know I shouldn't contact you. But I have to know. Where is Angela?" The voice was shaking on the other end, fear trembling off his vowels.
"You should be here," was all I said. Correction, all I could say.
"Don't tell me what I already know! Where is she!" He demanded.
My back snapped, sitting upright I put the pieces together. "Your across the seas, at the war front," I seethed.
The phone was quiet for a few collective seconds before he responded. "Please just tell me she's with you, safe."
"No one knows where she is. She disappears often, coming home only when she wants something. We have you to thank for that."
"I'm coming home. I'm coming back for her," he vowed, the sound of a jet taking off in the back ground. Was he at a airport?
A part of me burned, he wanted to resurrect a dead girl. "Your too late, she died. The Nytari ripped out the girl we knew and replaced it with her father's blood thirst. There's nothing left to come back for."
"I love her, and if she wants my heart I'll cut it out myself and give it to her. I'll die for her, live for her, give her whatever I can. I just want my Angel back," by the end his voice had cracked.
There was no changing that boy's mind, he was stubborn like his mate, I knew that much. "Be careful, Andrew."

Max's POV:
A twelve year old boy got to his feet, an irritated groan shaking the courtyard. I too scrambled to my feet, weaponless, I only had my will to keep me alive. I've made some incredibly stupid decisions in my time in the supernatural world, this tops all of them.
"A Kyto portal," the boy remarked just as the green light closed behind me. "How very clever for a mortal." His steely eyes flickered back to me," you'll die first."
