Goddess, her scent was my life and my destruction.

I had followed it here just after scouting for a new territory. It was so distinct and addictive I couldn't rest until I had found it. Her eyes were Hazel. That was my first thought as I stared at her.

I don't know why, but her hazel eyes were somehow significant to my heart. Once I had laid my eyes on her I just knew..... The scent, the sight, her eyes and the little voice in the back of my head. She was my mate. She was mine.

I held back my wolf from breaking free and marking her flawless neck were she sat. The thought of the taste of her skin and her wearing my mark drove me insane. I felt my self almost lunge at her but I used the tree to hold myself back. Barley...

If that wasn't enough, a squirrel had to climb down from the tree and make her smile. I felt a feeling in my chest, a desire I couldn't place. Her voice was chocolate melted on strawberry and her smile was the same ecstasy I felt when I took someone's life. I couldn't loose control, I could hurt her. That thought instantly made me furious, the searing pain I felt in my chest at the thought of her getting hurt... Especially if I was the one to do it.

Oh I had found my territory as I wanted today, and she would be mine and anyone who got in my way would be seared until they had no skin left on their body.

At the sound of her soft chuckle I felt my body jump forward instinctively, I wanted her now. Her body wrapped in my arms, my nose dug deep into her neck where her scent was the strongest. I wanted what's mine and my wolf wanted it now.

The squirrel heard my small noise and scurried up the tree. A look of confusion settled on her face as she scanned her surroundings, her eyes falling on me. My heart pounded steadily, I knew she had seen me, and I was glad.

"Hello?" She called out so innocently. I let a growl slip out at the sound of her innocent tone. Goddess, what her innocence made me picture...

I stayed hidden, I had to keep my wolf under control. I could feel my feet shift side to side, I clenched my jaw to the point it hurt.

"I know your hiding..." She trailed on nervously. Her melted chocolate voice made my wolf wild. He wanted to go to her, he hated hiding like a coward. I couldn't stop the thunderous growl from escaping my lips. She needed to stop speaking, I was on the verge of marking her.

I didn't want to hurt her but I also wanted to make my claim on was is rightfully mine.

When she said she was leaving that was it. She was mine! She couldn't leave and I was determined to make sure she knew that she was mine. Day, night, death, living she will always be mine. And she wasn't going to EVER forget that.

Next thing I knew I had my territory pinned to a tree. Her mouth watering skin right in front of me, for my tasting and my tasting only.

Hey guys,

So that was Percy's POV. I thought I'd give you guys a taste of what his POV is like throughout the book. It was a little extreme, don't worry it won't be THAT extreme throughout the book. But let me know what you guys think!
