-Third Person-
"Go! Let's get through the wormhole and back to the castle!" Shiro yelled over the comms. The 5 lions shot forwards and into the wormhole just as a bolt of black lightning struck it, and the wormhole slammed shut. "Ugh!" Pidge wheezed, Green skidding into the hangar in the castle, landing beside Shiro, Hunk, and Keith. "That was too close." She gasped. Hunk froze. "Guys, where's Lance?" His voice wavered, and he raced over to the window. "Lance! Where are you?" Shiro asked over the comm. "I'm still outside, I had some trouble with some Galra Fighters, but-" Lance was cut short. "QUIZNAK!" Keith yelled as the wormhole started to shake, black lightning spiking across the wormhole. "AHHHHHHHHH!" Lance screamed over the comm as lightning slammed into blue, racing through his veins. "LANCE!" Allura yelled. "AAHHHHHHH!" Lance yelled louder as Blue started to shut down when she was hit with another bolt. "LANCE! ARE YOU OKAY? TALK TO ME!" Hunk cried into his helmet.
Silence.
"Ngh." Lance gasped over the line, "I- I can't breathe!" Lance's heavy rasping echoed through the main audio, "It-it hurts to breathe." Blue's movements turned clunky and slow as she neared the castle, "I-it hurts..." Hunk's eyes widened, "Lance! Stay with us!" His voice was wild. Lance's breathing was heavy and laced with pain, and Blue stopped moving, diving forward and slamming into the floor of the hangar, sliding the length of the floor before ramming into the far wall. Shiro sprinted to the damaged lion, coming to a halt as Blue's mouth opened and a figure staggered down the ramp.
Lance's limbs spasmed slightly as black lightning arched on his armor and helmet. Blood trickled down his face and from his mouth, and his chest rattled with every raspy breath. Lance gave a weak smile before closing his eyes and falling to the floor. Shiro gently picked him up and ran to the healing pods. "LET'S GET HIM PREPPED!"

-Lance's POV-I groaned and forced my eyes open. I felt the familiar feeling of falling, and I laughed. Someone caught me with strong arms, and I slowly looked up to see Hunk. "Hey Hunk," I laughed, "Long time no see." Hunk squeezed me tightly. "I thought we lost you." He mumbled. I laughed. "No way!" I shakily stood up and grinned at the other 6 pairs of eyes that stared at me. "Hõla!" I said, smiling. "Don't look so surprised!" I sauntered over to my clothing and pulled my jacket over the pod suit. "What, cat your tongue?" I teased, giggling.
"Lance, we have.......important news." Allura said cautiously. I shrugged. "Okay." Shiro glanced at Coran. Coran sighed. "Lance, we discovered that when Haggar's magic hit our wormhole, it corrupted it." Coran swallowed. "When you were hit with the lightning the wormhole produced, you were struck with Haggar's magic as well. Using the knowledge we know and the statistics of the castle's doing, we were able to determine that the curse you were subjected to will cause you to go through today as the polar opposite of your usual self." Coran stopped. "Okay!" I laughed. Shiro crossed his arms.
"So, should we be expecting an emo, grumpy, sad, Lance?" He asked, confused. Pidge groaned. "So basically a second Keith. Great." She mumbled sarcastically. Keith glared at her. "Shut it!" He growled. I snickered. "Nah, don't expect that!" I said lightly, "Trust me, I won't be acting like that." I sauntered out of the room, heading to the bathroom and getting dressed. I slipped out into the hallway, popping in the kitchen. "Hey Hunk!" I said excitedly. "Uh, hey Lance?" He asked, darting around the kitchen. "HI!" I shrieked and ran back into the main room, running into Shiro.
"Oh, sorry Space Dad!"
I apologized. Shiro raised an eyebrow. "Space Dad? What are you-" I cut him off. "You're obviously the Space Dad because you're the leader and act like a dad, which is totally cool by the way!" I rambled, totally caught up in how bright the lights looked. "Wow, have the lights always been that bright?" I asked, oblivious to Shiro's bewildered expression. "Perhaps Coran got the curse wrong, you're just acting a little more hyper than usual." Shiro grumbled. I laughed. "Do you see me having a panic attack in the corner?" I asked. Shiro frowned. "No?" "Then I'm not acting like normal!" I said cheerfully. Shiro froze.
