-Lance's POV-

"What a surprise, I'm all alone. Yet again." I muttered, eyes trailing across the dark walls of my room. The team's distant laughter filtered in through the door, and I faintly smiled.

If my team was happy, that's all that mattered.

I turned into my side, drawing my long legs into my chest. "It makes sense, I guess." I closed my eyes, shifting my world into black.

"I'm just the seventh wheel."

-Keith's POV-

I growled as Pidge pulled the ponytail tighter, my bangs sticking straight up. "I'm going to kill you." I seethed, my reflection laughing at me. "That's what you get for pranking the Pidgelord." Hunk laughed, Shiro struggling to contain his laughter.

"I look like a f*cking unicorn."

My hands twitched, and I resisted the urge to tear the hairband out of my hair and throw it across the room. "You're stuck like that for the next 2 hours," Allura snickered, "I'd get used to it." I glared, and Coran laughed. "Cheer up, my boy." He smiled, "There could be worse things." I sighed, running a hand through my hair angrily.

"I'd take getting ejected out of the airlock over this."

Allura giggled, and Shiro broke, his laugh echoing through the halls. "I'm sorry Keith," His face lit up with a smile, "But you look absolutely ridiculous." I flopped down onto the couch, "Thank you for that, Paladin Obvious." I mumbled. "Hey," Pidge shrugged, "At least everyone got to see you like this." Hunk frowned, eyes scanning through the room.

"Um, No. Where's Lance?"

He asked, shoulders slumping. I gazed around the room in disbelief. "How did we miss him?" Allura gasped, "We haven't seen him since breakfast." Shiro frowned. "Are you sure? Has anyone seen him?" Coran shook his head. "I don't think he's come out of his room." I stood up, ponytail bobbing up and down. "Are you being serious?" My tone was filled with disbelief, "Lance, as in Lance McClain, hasn't talked to anyone today out of his own free will?" Allura tilted her head to the side. "It is a bit strange." My gaze trailed to Hunk, who was suddenly shifting anxiously. "Hunk? What's wrong?" Pidge asked, concerned. Hunk shook his head, "I-Someone should go check on him." Hunk turned to exit the room, but I breezed past him, "I'll check." I said, the others giving me blank stares. "What?" Shiro raised an eyebrow. Pidge smirked, glasses glistening under the Castle lights. "I have to make sure Lance sees this disaster," I gestured to my ponytail, "Before I throw it in the food processor." I turned away, hiding my growing blush. "Alright." Allura shrugged. I hurried down the hall, face hot.

"Stupid crush."

I muttered under my breath, hands clenching into fists.  Somehow, Lance McF*cking McClain managed to steal my heart from right underneath my ribcage, and he didn't even know it. My heart started to speed up as I neared Lance's door, and I took a deep breath to calm myself. "Lance?" I knocked on his door harshly, "Are you okay?"  There wasn't a response, and I knocked louder. "Lance? Hello?" I sighed as the door remained closed. I quickly typed in the access password into the keypad beside Lance's door, and the door slowly slid open. "Lance?" I called softly, eyes adjusting to the darkened room. My breath caught in my chest as I saw a figure curled into a ball in the corner, head buried in their knees.
