[The gang are in college, and they decide to take a Suicide Hotline Class for credits]
-Third Person-
"Hey," Shiro motioned for the others to gather around the library table. "Take a look at this." He flipped through a brochure, "If we take this class, we could get some major credits." Keith read over his shoulder. "Yeah, but it's a Suicide Hotline class." Lance stiffened slightly. Pidge shrugged, "True. But if we take it, we get some credits and we get to help people." Hunk smiled. "Yeah, that in itself should be enough of a reason for us to take it." Allura rubbed her shoulder awkwardly, "Yes, but that's quite a bit of pressure. Someone's life lying in your hands." Shiro nodded. "There would be a trained professional with us, and we have to dock in 20 hours of supervised training and pass an exam before we could actually take calls, and even then, there would be a trainer there to help us out." Pidge glanced at Hunk, who nodded.
"I'll do it."
Pidge said, and Hunk smiled. "Me too." Shiro stood up, "I'm all for it." Allura sighed. "Then I shall as well." Shiro glanced at Keith who crossed his arms. "I'm in." Hunk turned to Lance, a smile on his face. Lance shook his head. "No. I'll have to pass." Pidge raised an eyebrow. "I definitely didn't expect that." Lance laughed, "Sorry, but I just don't think I'm the right kind of person to be behind a phone determining the existence of a troubled person." He looked away. "So no thanks." Keith shrugged. "Whatever." Shiro grabbed his bag, and the others followed his example. "We'll meet here tomorrow to sign up." Hunk grinned, "Okay." Lance quickly waved to the others before disappearing into the mass of students on the sidewalk. "Bye guys." Pidge called, exiting with Hunk, and Allura, Keith, and Shiro all walked out the door.

-Lance's POV-
"So." I crunched on a carrot, "How's the class going? It's been, what, almost 2 months right?" Hunk nodded, "Yeah. It's going great actually!" Allura smiled, "The trainer decided that we work better together as a group, so we were allowed to train as one." Keith shrugged. "They're going to let us start taking official calls tonight." Keith said, taking a drink of water. Hunk frowned. "Hey! I wanted to be the one to tell them that!" Pidge rolled her eyes. "Anyway, our trainer, he's awesome!" Allura laughed, "His name is Coran, and he's an amazing teacher. But we all passed our exams, and docked in over 20 hours of artificial calls, so we'll be allowed to start official calls tonight!" I smiled, glancing at the clock nervously. "That's cool." The air at this table was too cluttered with opinions and people. "Well, it's been fun." I said, slinging my bookbag over my shoulder, "But I have to go. Good luck with your calls." Keith frowned. "Lunch isn't over for another 24 minutes." He said, looking at me. I shrugged, "I have classes to study for." I turned and quickly left the room, heading straight into the bathroom that lined the hall. I locked myself into a stall and slowly eased my sweater sleeves up, wincing at the bandages that were tinted red.
"Well," I muttered, "At least they're having fun."

-Third Person-
"So, are you prepared for your second week of official calls?" Coran asked, locking the door to the sound room securely. "Yep." Pidge said, popping the p. "Absolutely." Allura beamed, "Helping people feels so good." Coran grinned. "It sure is." he turned around, booting the Hotline's computer up. "Now, Thursdays are always busier than other days for some odd reason," Coran gestured for the others to get in their seats, "So you'll definitely get a call." Keith nodded and sat in his designated seat. "Are you ready?" Coran asked, dialing on the phone. Hunk nodded. "Okay." He said, and he pressed the talk button. His face was grim as words flew out of the receiving end of the phone. Coran passed the phone to Shiro, "It's a regular." Coran whispered. Shiro nodded, placing the phone on speaker. Regulars were people who called in frequently. "Hello, this is the Suicide Hotline, how may we help you?" Hunk's voice was smooth.
