-Lance's POV-

"Uh, Hunk?" I yelped, dodging a punch thrown by Zethrid. "We may have a slight issue!" I gasped through the helmet's comm system. "Lance?! What's wrong?" I whirled around, sprinting for the doorway.

"Uh, you know how Lotor's generals are supposed to be headed towards Pidge and Shiro?" I skidded around the corner of the hall, firing a few shots behind me blindly, desperately trying to throw my persueres off my trail.

"Well, they aren't."

Hunk's voice was strained, "What?! How do you know?!" I turned into a hangar, ducking behind a pillar of Galran metal. "Uh, because they're right behind me!" I whispered, struggling to fully conceal myself in the shadows of the corner. "QUIZNAK!" Hunk yelled, "I'M ON MY WAY!" I shrunk further behind the pillar as a silhouette filled the doorway. "Little Paladin?" A deep voice called, "I know you're in here." The figure moved closer, "Just come out, and maybe we won't completely tear you apart." I readied my bayard, finger resting on the trigger. "Oh, bad choice." A voice chuckled, "You're not very good at this game." A new voice laughed, Ezor popping into my line of eyesight.

"We've already found you!"

I didn't have time to react before I felt a sharp prick in my neck, and everything bled into an inky dark.

-Keith's POV-

"Lance?" Hunk's worried voice echoed over the comms, "Buddy?" I growled, slicing through a group of Galra Sentinels. "Hunk? What are you doing?!" Hunk's voice was shaking, "I think something happened to Lance." "What?" Shiro's voice joined in on the conversation, "Why?" I thrust my sword into a soldier, whirling around. "Because last he spoke, Lotor's generals had engaged in combat with him." I narrowed my eyes. "A-Are you serious?" Pidge's voice was wavering. "Yeah," Hunk answered, "And now he's not answering." I sighed in frustration, taking off down the hall in a sprint. "What was his last known location?" I asked gruffly. "He was in the back hangar." Shiro responded, "Be careful, Keith." I skidded around the doors, stopping in the hangar.

"He's not here."

I frowned, "And neither is anyone else." I felt a presence at my back, and I slashed my sword in a diagonal arc, slowing as I saw black Paladin armor. "Whoah, Keith." Shiro put his hands in the air, "I surrender." I lowered my bayard. "Sorry." I grumbled, staring at the doorway as Hunk and Pidge rushed in. "This isn't good." Shiro said, "There should at least be several Galra soldiers here. But there's nothing, there's no one." I huffed, eyes skimming the room. "Wait, what about-" I was cut off as the doors slammed shut, and the lights flickered on, casting us in a sickly purple glow.

"Ah, Paladins of Voltron."

A voice laughed, Ezor sliding down the rafters, landing on the metal floor with a soft thud. "How nice of you to join us for the grand show!" I stepped forwards, activating my shield. "Where is he," I spat, "Where is Lance?" Ezor laughed, a cheeky grin on her face. "Oh, the Blue Paladin? Oh, he's more than okay." She giggled.

"Why don't you see for yourself?"

A figure staggered into our line of vision, and my eyes widened. Lance stumbled towards us, his eyes glowing a bright yellow, teeth sharpened into fangs. "W-What did you do to him?" Hunk cried, hoisting his gun up. A figure materialized behind Lance, a cat trailing at her feet. "Oh, Narti just put him into a deep, deep, sleep." Acxa chuckled, cold eyes following us. Narti raised her hand, and Lance's bayard appeared in his hand. Purple tendrils of light wrapped around Lance's limbs, spreading from Narti's palms like poison. Lance's movements were choppy, and he grinned. "Lance!" Shiro called, "Snap out of it!" Zethrid laughed, a deep sound.

"I don't think so."

Lance came to an abrupt stop, clicking the safety of his gun off. Narti's cat purred, a deep hoarse sound. "He's not waking up." Acxa laughed, flipping her bangs gracefully out of her eyes. Lance's wrist jerked forwards, the wire connecting to his arm tightening. "Let him go!" Pidge growled, glaring. Ezor's eyes twinkled. "He's going to kill you." She smiled, "And he won't even know it." I shook my head, my grasp on my Bayard tightening. Zethrid clapped, "This is gonna be great." Lance face morphed into a grisly smile, eyes trailing out every move. "End them." Acxa whispered, and Lance lurched forward before stopping. Narti froze, and her cat raised its hackles, teeth bared. Lance's face scrunched up in pain, and his Bayard slipped out of his hand.

"Ngh."

Lance groaned, his limbs slowly tearing away from the wires of magic, "H-heh." Ezor's eyes widened, and she shot towards us as Narti was flung across the room, her wires shattering into a million pieces. Lance slowly rose to his normal height, his eyes still a bright yellow. He laughed as he picked his Bayard up, quickly slamming a blue bullet into Ezor's chest.

"My, my. So this is what being cursed feels like."

Lance grinned, fangs glistening in the light. "I-Impossible!" Acxa's face was pale, "No one has ever broken Narti's spell before!" Lance whirled around to face her.

"I'm not most people, now am I?"

He shrugged, "You just happened to make a very grave mistake." Shiro cautiously walked up to Lance, resting a hand on his shoulder, "What's wrong?" Lance whirled around, snarling.

"Don't touch me."

He growled, eyes flaring. Lance shot past me, giggling hysterically as he shot an incoming Squadron of Galra. "Run!" He laughed, shooting a Galra soldier through the heart, red splattering on his armor. "You're not very good at this game." He frowned, whipping his leg into the face of Zethrid, snapping her head to the side.

"Hmmmm!" His yellow eyes locked on mine. "What's wrong, Keefy?" His smile shone through the blood on his face, "Why so still?" Lance spun around, facing the shaken form of Narti. "Magic doesn't really work on me." He grinned, "But it has some interesting side effects!" Lance flipped into the air, blue bursting in the air of the hangar.

"Smile, Voltron!"

He pointed at us. "Come on! Help me!" Lance chased after the Generals, stepping into their path. "Tell Lotor hello for me," Lance cheered, "And that I send him my greatest regards."

Lance stepped aside, and the half-breeds rushed out of the room.

"Lance?"

Hunk's voice was soft, "What's happening?" Lance turned his yellow gaze to us. "Wires," He grinned, Paladin armor painted red,

"They got the best of him."
