Liz Collins

Yep, I'm definitely right. The house is way larger than what I think it would be.

Sally and I are currently walking on the second floor which consists of a study room, a music room, and a big swimming pool outside with a mini bar near it.

To say I'm thunderstruck is an understatement. I never know this house can be this luxurious inside. Plus, I really wonder what Tori does for a living. We barely had the time to talk to each other about these kinds of things, so I have no idea. We heard the sound of a car parking, so I assumed Tori's back.

I went to the front door and waited for her there. Tori came in with some groceries and asked Sally to help her make dinner.

"I'm thinking of homemade spaghetti this evening. What do you think?" Tori is currently taking out the food from the big white shopping bags.

"Sounds good to me." I briefly reply, feeling excited to help the both of them cook.

We finished having dinner and I did insist to help Sally clean, but Tori told me we needed to talk.

Tori and I entered the study room which is very fascinating. There were several rows of books, a desk and couches Not to mention, there is a modern computer being installed on the desk, too.

I comfortably have a seat on the couch and Tori is sitting across from me. There's a fairly big table in the middle of the two couches.

She pulls out something which I guess is a file or a document of my new identification.

"Here is your new identity." She hands me and I carefully take a look over it.

"So, I'm now Liz Collins, a 19-year-old girl who just graduated."

"Well... The description suits you though."

"Hmm... How about my job? I can't stay here and do nothing."

"I was thinking of training you and teaching you some skills in case I'm not there to help."

"What do you mean,Tor?"

"You will be training and also receiving self-defense and some other skills regarding the gadgets and weapons we might use. That's what you will do in the duration of this one year, Liz."

"Mhm... I didn't know you learn how to fight."

"Well, I can't perfectly trust anyone and we'll be needing it in the future."

"OK then. When should I get started? The earlier the more I can improve myself."

"Great to hear that. Also in this one year, I think you shouldn't go outside because it might be dangerous. You should be physically and mentally ready for tomorrow's lessons."

"Then where will I be training?"

"I always have a kind of special place in my house for trainings. Wanna check it out?"

"Sure!"

We exit the study room and she leads me to somewhere which I'm not aware when I first entered the house. There is a big basement and it consists of a lot of training equipments, much as well weapons and gadgets.

"Woah... Do the others know about this?"

"I only have my close people in my house and they will help you with your lessons." She recites and I slightly nod.

"By the way, what do you do? I am just curious, you know. Last time we met, you told me you were an office worker, but I guess you have a different job now."

"I'm working as a secretary for Parkinson's Enterprise and Corporation. I also am a part-time English teacher."

"I just can't believe you still have the time to take care of me when you're such a busy person, Tor. To be honest, I know that it is not easy to overcome many obstacles to be in your current state."

"Yeah, you're right. And I'm going to train you to be someone who is independent and strong."

We went around the basement in silence and she introduced me to the necessary things that I will be learning.

"It's already late. Sleep well and wake up tomorrow for your lessons, okay?"

"Yes! I will try my best to develop myself to be someone better."

"Good! Now go, your majesty!"

As she said that, I intensely glared at her and she just laughed. I walked upstairs and went to my bed, hoping that this one year of training will actually help me overcome my fears.
