Liz Collins

"Ow...." I winced knowing that I got shot in my left shoulder. I'm tired. Tired of getting people in trouble, tired of not knowing the answers to my questions, tired of being chased after.

"Liz, hold on tight. We'll be there." Sam grabbed my cold hands and wrapped them around his waist while driving quickly.

We've been driving and I can't really tell where we are due to my gradually blurry vision.

"FXCK!" Sam cursed loudly. Some of them are catching up. Eventhough I can't see clearly and I can't move my left arm, I manage to get one of my favorite gadgets that Tori gave me.

Because Sam is driving, he can't do anything. I'm starting to feel dizzy due to the blood loss.

"Sam, just drive. Don't worry. I will handle them." I was struggling to speak loud enough for him to hear.

"LIZ?" I can sense that he's extremely worried. I know they wouldn't shoot me. Carson won't be getting what he wants if it's already dead.

I took off my earrings which aren't actual earrings at all. They are bombs. Small bombs we use as earrings. Tori and the others have managed to get those types of cool gadget. I don't know how, but it's a good thing.

Let's just end this for today.

I threw the explosive earrings to the back with my uninjured right arm. It made a satisfying explosion, causing a wide range of smoke and distracting the guys.

I after that unintentionally took a nap. I woke up in a strangely familiar room.

"Ugh..." I groaned, opening my eyes.I'm still wincing to the pain in my shoulder.

"Liz, you're awake?" Sam came rushing to me. We're the only ones in the room.

"Sam..." I mumbled while looking around.

"Are you okay?"

I nodded even though the shot was still killing me inside. Then Tori and the others came into the room with worried faces.

"God, Liz, I was so worried about you! We arrived safely, but there's no sign of the two of you. If there's anything happens, I'm going to blame myself..." Tori rambled quickly and continuously in worries.

"Tor, Tor, TORI! I'm okay." I had to shout out loud to stop her. I wanted to get up and Sam quickly helped me.

"Can you call Alex and Sophia to come here?" I turned to her. "It's time to tell them."

I look at the guys and they turned to me in confusion. I don't know how this is going to be.

"OK." Tori nodded and went out to call them.

"What had happened before... I passed out?" I looked at Sam and he sighed.

"I didn't know what you were doing, but the explosion did distract them. They couldn't find us. When we arrived at my house, you were extremely pale. The doctor said that you lost a lot of blood." Sam was covered in worries, concerns, sweats and one more thing I have never noticed in him before, fear.

"I have to tell you a lot of things."

"A lot." Asher and Jack said simultaneously.

Not long after, Alex and Sophia arrived.

"LIZ!" They came and hugged me and I was trying not to let out a painful groan.

"Guys, she got shot in the shoulder." Tori came and tore us apart.

"WHAT IS HE DOING IN HERE?" Sam pointed at Alex.

"Let's get down to the problem."

It's still early in the morning around 6:30. While waiting for Alex and Sophia, Sam brought me something to eat in bed.

"You've decided to tell them?" Alex asked me and I nodded.

"Can you tell us why they're after you?" Asher said in a serious tone.

"As you can see, they're after me. Carson Ledwell... I know him. I'm sorry that I lied and kept this away from you. But... I have to tell you because we can't do anything right now." I started.

"Before I get into the story, can I ask you guys something?" I looked up at the three billionaires.

"What is it?"

"Have you found out anything about the family that got killed in Colorado?" Just speaking of Colorado, it brings back too much.

"I just found out this morning that the family has four members. Corpses of the family members were found outside in a deserted place near a forest. We had to search into the death records 7 years ago and the members are James Delmer, Janet,Ethan and Lillian. The family has a son and a daughter, but after doing lots of digging into it, the truth is that only three members were killed. We don't know who's alive." Asher spoke.

Tori, Alex and Sophia were giving me concerned looks. I gave them a reassuring smile. It hurts talking about my family, knowing there aren't any people who know them. The people who know and live with us are all killed. We still don't have any answers either and telling the guys may be helpful.

"Why do you want to know about the family?" There's a knock on the door.

"Dear, are you feeling better now?" Sam's parents came in and we greeted them.

"Thanks. I'm better now, Lauren." I smiled.

"Dad, I told you that Carson is after someone and... now we know he's after Liz." Sam told them, but I'm surprised they don't seem to be in shock. I don't know what the guys are thinking, but from the bottom of my heart, I know they're not mad at me for not telling them. They are very considerate and understanding. That's what incredible about them. They may seem like rigorous, cold and bossy billionaires, but they understand others. Even Sam, he is a hot-tempered guy who doesn't care about other people, but he's actually not that kind of person at all. He keeps his cold and stern aura to run his company with the powerful authority he has.

"We can stay here and listen in order to help you." Sam's dad said and took a seat.

The room is pretty big and I know we're in the Parkinson's residence right now.

"Regarding your question, Asher, the family in Colorado is connected to this." I continued. "Carson and his dad killed the family, but they left one person out. I don't know why they didn't kill that person. I don't know what their intention is. I really don't know why they're after me, but I know who's the member that's still alive."

"Huh?" They all turned to me.

"The daughter of James and Janet and is also Ethan's sister... is still alive."

"How would you know that? You have never been to Colorado before and it's a very old case. Even all of us don't know about this. We're still kids back then." Jack asked me. "Plus, we have looked into every of Sam's employee and you're not one to interact with Ledwell or related to anyone in Colorado."

"That's because..." I didn't continue, but someone else did. And we all didn't expect that. Even Tori, Alex, Sophia and I. We're all in shock, because we think we're the only ones who know. How come he knows?

"She's Lillian Delmer, not Liz Collins."
