"Thank you very much for today, Mrs. Parkinson." Tori and I are saying goodbye and we are ready to drive back home.
"You're welcome. But are you sure you will be okay driving home this late. I can let the guys accompanied you." Mrs.Parkinson replied with concerns.
"It is OK. We'll be fine." Tori reassured her. She eventually nodded and we got in the car.
"So, you and Sam?" She winks at me as she is driving.
"You and Jack?" I retorted back.
"Shut up." She mumbles.
"Anyway, what did Jack give you?" I turned to her and noticed a new necklace she was wearing. It was probably a Gucci necklace since it had two tigers as pendants. However, there was a letter T in the middle of the red tiger and the green tiger.
"He got you the necklace?" I asked her after my observation.
"Yeah. Since we both like Gucci,we always get each other something that is connected to Gucci."
"Aww.... Gucci couple." I fantasized over her and Jack's soon-to-be relationship.
"How about you? I heard from the guys that Sam bought you a diamond charm bracelet."
"Yeah. It looks really expensive though."
"Can't believe he spent two weeks to plan and buy it?" She chuckles as I am clueless.
"Huh??"
"Nothing. Sam is really encountering something new everyday." She shakes her head and laughs. "Plus, that's good."
"What are you talking about, Tor?"
"Nothing really." We drove back home safe and sound.
"Tor, can I ask you something?" We went into my bedroom and I closed the door.
"What do you want to ask?" She raised her eyebrows.
"Why did everyone back then keep addressing me like you and Bella sometimes did?"
"I never get to answer that question myself either. I wanted to ask your parents, but I never had the confidence to do it. I didn't want to meddle in someone else's business." She sighed.
"I just always wondered why. I thought I was just a normal girl living with her family. Not until what happened....." My eyes are watering and I tried to hold back the tears.
"Liz, you still remember Alex, right?"
"Yeah. He disappeared before the incident happened. Do you have any idea where he went?"
"Actually, yes. He and I were the ones your family put their trust in us. But during that time, he had to move out because of some personal things, so I was the only one left."
"So you still keep in touch with him?" I asked her in curiosity.
"Sometimes. He was the one who provided me a home when I started my life in the city. He helped me a lot and I was starting to understand more. After that, Sam found me and I work for him."
"He knew that something happened to us, didn't he?"
"Yes. But we can't do anything up against them. To be honest, he knows that you're alive and he wants to meet his little friend again."
"Hey! I'm not little. That is because he is older like my brother, doesn't mean I'm little." I protested, remembering our fun time together.
"Alright alright. Let's just go to back now." She stood up.
