Liz Collins
I'm presently seated in the passenger seat of his Ferrari. To say that it is awkward is an understatement. However, I know that if we ever even have a conversation, there will be glares filled with daggers and retorts throwing back and forth. So, I prefer that we keep our mouth shut and ride in an awkward silence rather than wanting to kill each other's soul.
I looked out of the window while the guy in the driver's seat was driving at a high speed. I didn't even dare to look at him and I'm sure he is also ignoring my presence, too. He pulled his car at the gate of my destination and I was ready to get out, not wanting to be in there anytime longer. I was about to open the door when I realized it was locked.
"Next time, be polite when someone offers you a ride." He said coldly, looking ahead, with his hand over the steering wheel and another over the controller of the locks, clicking it open.
"Gee...Thanks! And I will try to be more POLITE." I took my bag and walked out of mischievous ride. I know I'm angry right now and maybe think that it will be nice to shut the car door harshly, but No! Taking anger out onto something irrelevant isn't a solution.
After I closed the door without looking back at the obnoxious human being, I knew that he already drove away.
I still don't get it how Tori said that he is a nice person!? Such a douchebag!
I entered and greeted every worker in the house then went upstairs to my room, took a shower and changed. I wanted to go to the music room or perhaps the dance room, so that I could relax.
I has learned a lot since I came here. I'm a new person now and I will do my best to hide my emotions and secrets in order to forget my unbearable past.
Samuel Parkinson
Sui generis and sibylline, that's what she is.
Everything she does surprises me.
The first time I saw her, I thought she was like any other girl. Flirting, biting their lips, battering their eyelashes and winking.
But.... She is different. She puts on a cold and blank face. She is confident and seems to be very determined of everything she does.
After my meeting with the 5 designers including her, I went back to my office and work. But somehow, I have the urge to look at the security camera and see what she does. I have discovered that she doesn't talk much, but there's something new I have found out today. Her colleagues try to make conversations with her and get to know her more, but she somehow makes less conversation with them and try to avoid talking too much, as if she is pushing them away. It's like she has built a wall over herself and doesn't want anyone to get to know her.
I'm not sure if that who she really is.
When I took her home, she was very quiet and was staring outside the window, looking at the views of the city.
Before she got out of my car, I had said something which I supposed would make her hate me more. I knew she was offended and surely angry of my statement and I expected her to close my car door harshly to show her furiousness. But I was totally wrong, I was surprised to see her close my car door normally and walked away like anything didn't bother her at all.
I just want to get to know her more, but with that Great Wall she has over her, it will be hard.
"Finn, I want you to do something." I said over the phone.
"Yes, sir! How may I help you?" Finn replied with respects.
Finn is one of my workers, particularly my personal investigator. I trust him with his work and he rarely disappoints me.
"Give me every information you can find about Liz Collins." I ordered.
"Wow. Who is this special girl you want to know, Sam?" He teased me, chuckling lighly.
"Goddammit!! Just find it and give me the information. It's none of your business, Finn." I scowl, gritting my teeth.
"Woah! Calm down, man! I will give you as soon as possible."
"Good! Now bye!" I cut the line and went to the study room to do my work.
Tina, my 19-year-old sister, came in then sat on the sofa.
"So, how's the clothes designing going?" Tina was lying comfortably with her legs crossed on the sofa and a comfy pillow in her arm, hugging it.
"Pretty well... You wanna see the designs?" I asked her, my eyebrow's raising as I was typing my laptop.
"Sure." She came over to me and peered her head over my shoulder as I clicked on the designs and displayed them to her.
"Wow... They are very interesting and unique. These designers are very creative." Tina complimented in astonishment. Then the summer fashion designs of Liz flashed on the screen.
"Woah... That top is so beautiful. Those stylish accessories, also. Wait... The jeans and the hats, too." Tina beamed at the designs with amazement.
"Who is the designer of these?" She asked me curiously.
"Tori's close friend, Liz Collins." I shrugged.
"She is very creative. The designs were different from others, but they look so nice and simple with their unique styles."
"Maybe you can help me with the designs, too. Or you can give some advice on them." I suggested.
"Good idea! Maybe I can." She agreed with me while her eyes are roaming over my laptop screen.
"You're free, today, huh?? Don't have any studies to do?"
"Yeah. I'm bored. Mom and dad are meeting the Rays. And I don't have anything to do." She sighed heavily as she threw herself on the sofa again. Well, I can't blame her, I have to go to work everyday and my parents are also busy meeting other business partners, too. Mom and Dad, especially dad, sometimes visit the company to check how it's going. But they put their trust in me to manage everything with me being the CEO.
"You want to eat something?" I asked, trying to cheer her up since she loves food. Furthermore, I want to make time for my little sis because I barely hang out with her since work is becoming hectic.
"Hmm... I'm craving for something, Japanese. Oh! Can we make sushi, pretty please?" She requested, using her puppy eyes to help her.
"Sure. Let's have a brother-sister dinner." I got up and beckoned her to follow me to the kitchen. "And I won't let you set the kitchen on fire again. One time is enough to wake up the whole neighborhood." I warned her, a little bit shivering, remembering the day.
"Fine fine, whatever, bro! Just hurry up." She sulked and impatiently motioned me to hurry up.
"OK, sis. Calm your cravings... Geez!" I started walking.
"Yay! Fresh made sushi, here we come!" She beamed and dashed out of the door, almost tripping on the way.
She's still the same childish little sister I have, even though she's already 19. She and her cravings. What a food lover!(¬_¬)
