Liz Collins
Ugh... That was so embarrassing and a hundred percent annoying. It was fortunate because of the fact that I can't blush or go 50 shades of red in front of others.
As we were riding in Tori's car, she kept stealing glances at me and I know that I'm going to get her thoughts out Asap.
"What do you want to say?" I plainly asked her.
"Nothing. It is just that your interaction with Sam is quite amusing." She chuckled as she stated what's in her mind.
"If you considered yourself getting disturbed and annoyed by an arrogant guy, amusing, then I don't know what's wrong with you." I rolled my eyes.
"Well, you two have to tolerate each other's presence because both of you will be working together from now on."
"So you mean, I am accepted?" I asked, confirming if that devil was stating the truth about him being my so-called 'Future Employer'.
"Yep, you got in!!!" She squealed while I was trying to survive from my bursting eardrums.
"Fine then. I will just have to put up with the devil who calls himself my future employer -.- " I sighed big time.
"You know he isn't that annoying. Just don't make him furious, that's the point. We really don't want to see him mad." She shuddered. I guessed she remembered a relevant memory.
"Will try, but no guarantees!"
"I think you will meet the other four designers tomorrow and I'm sure Sam will instruct what you will be doing." I nodded as she was speaking.
"By the way, are you and him close? Cause you guys seem to talk casually like normal friends do."
"Yeah, he was the person who gave me the job and helped me with my life when I first came here. We are like brother and sister."
"Ohh... So he helped you, huh? Never thought that annoying and egoistic guy actually helps others."
"He might be like this at first, but once I get to know him, he is actually a nice person."
"Hoping that you say is true because I don't want to have a World War III with our boss."
"Yeah!" She laughed.
We got home then I went up and changed into my comfortable attire. Afterwards, I quickly stepped down the stairs and ambulated to the kitchen.
"Hello, Sally! Need any help with the food?" I peered over the kitchen counter, looking at what Sally was doing.
"Yes, Can you help me chop those vegetables? We're making salad today because Tori demands that we need to keep you healthy and fit."
"Oh... OK!" I began chopping the vegetables the same way Sally had instructed.
Dinner is ready and I'm currently going upstairs to call Tori for dinner.
I knocked on her white bedroom door and a familiar voice said 'Come in'.
"Hey, dinner is ready!"
"OK. I'm going in a minute." She was typing her laptop which was on her desk. I went downstairs and waited for her.
"Liz, since we can go out now, I thought I could take you go sightseeing in the city. What do you think?" We are now in my bedroom with her chilling out and me working on my sketches.
"It will be great to explore this city. Plus, I should know where I'm residing in case I get lost."
"Good. Now go to bed. Your new job is awaiting tomorrow."

I woke up to the sound of my alarm and I prepared myself for my first day of my career.
I'm wearing a peach knee-length dress
with my hair pulled up in the usual high ponytail at the moment.
"Come on, Sam will arrive in the office soon." Tori dragged me into the office. "We don't want that hot-headed boss of ours to blow up any moment."
Mr.Parkinson entered the office after a few minutes of our arrival. He is wearing his usual black suit with a dark blue tie, surrounding his white button up shirt.
"OK. Before I start telling each one of you what to do, I want you to introduce yourself first." He gestured us.
"Hello, I'm Aiden Turner." A fairly tall British guy who has blond hair introduced.
"I'm Clover Setorri." A petite girl with a straight brown hair said.
"I'm Brett Carson." The guy who looks physically well-built speaks with an Australian accent.
"I'm Mark Wilson." The person standing beside me said, who was a bit taller than me.
As it is my turn to speak, I can feel several pairs of eyes fixed on me, especially the particular pair of bright blue eyes which were staring at me with an unreadable expression.
"My name is Liz Collins." I quickly said my name, looking at everyone, except the tall dashing guy who was standing behind his massive desk.
Mr.Parkinson told us about our jobs and the regulations, etc. We headed to our workplace and started our task.
The other 4 designers who are now my colleagues have already started to get to know each other. They also include me in their conversation and I sometimes participate, but I always set my mind on one thing, Don't let your guards down!
We have been working for hours and I also log the hours I work. We all start at 8 in the morning and end at 5 at dusk. I shut my computer down and walked to the usual lobby and waited for Tori with my earphones, bursring catchy songs in my ears.
I didn't really pay much attention to the duration I have been sitting there till I sensed someone took a seat across from me.
I looked up and was met with the Satan himself.
"No greetings for your employer?" Mr. Parkinson burlesques. I took off one side of my earphones after I had heard him because the volume of the music wasn't very high either.
"Oh! Good evening, sir!" I barely said with no emotions. I was about to put my earphone back when I heard him speak something that I wouldn't enjoy hearing or thought it was a good idea.
"Tori told me to take you home!" He glanced at my reaction when my back became as straight as a ruler.
"Pardon?" I blinked, not sure if that information sank in my head.
"Are you deaf or what, Ms.Collins?" His eyes, blazing over my face.
"Of course not, Mr.Parkinson!"
"Then I shouldn't repeat myself, right? I mean if you're not deaf or anything."
Can't this guy get anymore irritating??
If I haven't learned how to control my emotions, I'm sure he has already faced my wrath or been freshly buried deep in the ground by now. What an annoying jerk!
"I think you shouldn't and I'm perfectly sure I'm not what you think I am. My mind just wants to fully absorb this unpleasant information." I blankly retorted.
"I'm sure your brain needs to be more active, it seems like a sloth to me."
What a conceited, highfalutin, big headed bastard!!! –_–
"Are you sure Tori said that? She didn't tell me though." I asked him seriously.
"Why would I joke with you? Don't think that I like the idea of taking you home either." He scoffed. "Ask Tori if you want to ensure it."
I gripped my phone tightly and walked away from his sight about to call Tori. Hoping she wouldn't have said what he just told me.
As I was ready to hit the green button, a message popped in.
"Hey, I asked Sam to take you home. Sorry if I didn't give you a heads up. I had to help Jack and Sam is the only person I can trust." - Tori
Apparently not!! My first day won't be nice after all. I have to ride with that jerk. Sigh*
