Liz Collins
"SAMUEL FREAKING JERK!!" I gritted my teeth angrily looking at the piece of clothes he has given to me for the event.
"Woah there, sunshine!" I could imagine he was grinning happily right now.
"WHAT HAVE I TOLD YOU?!"
"Oh, mom needs me. Bye! " He ended the call before I could even answer him. I bet it was just an excuse not to face my forthcoming wrath.
"It's not that bad, Liz..." Tori said when I was fuming, seeing the indecent thing hanging on my cloeset's door.
"Not that bad?!" I scoffed at Tori. "This is the worst. I'm not gonna be wearing this. Not now, not ever!"
"I'm sure you look hot in this."
"In what? A scandalous club wear? No thanks! I'd rather wear pajamas to this event and got made fun of than revealing myself like this!" It doesn't even look like a dress at all. It is a black spaghetti strap dress which was way too revealing. It doesn't even reach the middle of my thigh. In addition, it was backless, too and there were small cuts this and there. And don't even get me started at the chest of the dress.
"Is he nuts or something?!" I was very mad at him. Didn't he hear me when I was speaking?
"Actually... This isn't the one." Tori smiled sheepishly and I turned to her confused.
"What?"
"Ta da!" Tori took out a white floral knee length dress. "This is the one. Try it on!"
The dress fits me perfectly and saying that it's lovely is an understatement. It is shoulder less, but it's very beautiful and simple. There were little designs on the edge of the dress and it's very soft and comfortable.
"Oh my... You look breathtakingly beautiful, Liz." Tori gasped, seeing the sight of me. "Do you like it?"
"Like it? I love it." I looked at myself in the mirror. "But... Who bought it?"
"The same guy who bought this for you, of course." She gestured the devious black thingy.
"What?!" My phone rang and I picked it up.
"So?" Sam asked me, I assumed with a smirk tugged on his lips.
"Explain! What's with the black one if you bought this white one?"
"Hmm... I don't know."
"Ugh! So I will keep these?"
"Yeah. But... I suggest you wear the black one..."
"Not gonna happen, perv!" Suddenly, I wanted to tease him and got him back for joking around.
"Hmm... Wait. On second thought, maybe I will wear it when I hang out with Rick." I smirked even though I know I'm not ever going to wear it.
"WHAT THE HELL! DON'T YOU EVEN DARE WEAR THIS DRESS, SUNSHINE OR ELSE EVERY SINGLE ORGAN OF THAT RICK GUY WILL TURN INTO ASHES!" He scowled angrily as I had expected and both Tori and I chuckled.
"By the way, thanks for the dress. Oh, Rick is here. Better go now. Bye!" I hung up on him and laughed uncontrollably. My phone then kept ringing and the same name was displayed again and again for about 20 times in several minutes.
"I can't believe he fell for that. I mean has he even met me?" I laughed looking at the messages and the missed calls.
"Pick it up, Liz!"
"Answer me!"
"Don't you freaking dare wear this!"
"I'm going to kill that Rick guy if you show up in that dress!"
"Liz Collins, PICK UP YOUR FRRAKING PHONE!"
"YOU'RE UNBELIEVABLE!"
"GODDAMMIT!!"
"Wow! That 7 messages he sent you in one minute can be 7 messages he sent me in 7 weeks." Tori looked at my phone in disbelief. "He's not the type to send messages that aren't about work."
"That guy is unbelievable." I shook my head and took off the dress and changed into my casual wear.
"Also here's the mask." Tori gave me a while mask which had small feathers attached on it.
"Is he really the one who chose this because I don't really believe it?" I asked her, gesturing the white dress. "This, I definitely believe." I meant the black dress for my latter statement.
"Yes. Sam told me a bit description of what he wanted it to be and I and the designers were the ones who altered and designed everything." Tori informed me.
"Oh, so... He doesn't know what it looks like?"
"Nope. He will be flabbergasted once he sees you. He wanted to see the dress, but I didn't let him." Tori chucked and smiled evilly.
"Oh!" My phone hasn't stopped ringing yet.
"You should better tell him, Liz. We can't fight them on our own." I know what she meant.
"I..."
"Liz, please, You almost got kidnapped not once, but twice!" Tori spoke to me.
"But..."
"Please. Carson already finds out. I assume Ledwell knows everything we don't. The only thing we can do is tell Sam and let the guys help us in order to confront them."
I kept quiet and thought about and pros and cons. However, I don't have anything to decide because Tori's final statement was clear and serious.
"If you're not telling him, I will. You don't need to tell him if you don't want to." I know she's disappointed.
"Okay. I will tell him if they show up one more time." I said although I didn't want to. Why is it so difficult just to tell him? Also one more thing...
She nodded and I continued.
"Since they already know, can I please get rid of these disguises?" I asked her.
"Hmm... Sure. I can say that you're not comfortable with the contacts or the glasses either."
"We really need to get rid of this Blondie and gave me back my golden brown hair because I don't want to get bald anytime soon." I told her, pointing to my head.
"Ahoy Princess!" Tori saluted. "We will release that golden brown hair of yours on the day of the event because I'm sure you will be much more lovely with the white dress and your golden brown hair."
