Samuel Parkinson
I was occupied with lots of negotiations tonight. I didn't even have the chance to meet Liz.
Liz... Liz... Lizzie.... -.-
Stop thinking about her!? Why am I so excited to see her tonight? What the heck is wrong with me?
I have been conversing with many people the whole night, but my eyes automatically kept glancing at the entrance door, hoping that particular someone entered.
"Who is she?"
"Who are they?"
"Is that..."
"Thank you for taking interest in our new production..." The head manager of UNYC spoke and I nodded even though those whispers were still bugging me.
I left to see what's going on with the people talking and whispering.
"I've never seen her before..."
"Who is that girl in the white dress dancing..."
What's the big deal about it? People should stop exaggerating things. There's nothing special, it's just a girl dancing- Fxck!
There, in the middle of the crowd, two people were dancing as if they were the only ones in the room. Nothing special? Who am I kidding? I think I have just seen an angel.
Who is she?
She is wearing a white dress that suits her perfectly. Her wavy golden brown hair that reaches the middle of her back. Her tall and slim body that's dancing with my mortal enemy.
They don't seem to be aware of all the stares at all. I can't seem to take my eyes off her. I went to the front to get a closer look and I think I have never seen anyone that beautiful and attractive before.
The way she moves and dances, I found it astonishing. Who is she? After having my eyes on her the whole time, I have noticed that her posture is familiar to someone I have been thinking about every time.
Nah... She has blond hair, not golden brown.
My mind says that it's not her, but my instincts say different. I looked at her wrist and my anger rose up.
What the fxck! What the heck does she think she is doing?! How the hell is she there?! Goddammit!!
The charm bracelet on her wrist I gave her on Christmas proves that she is the person I have been wanting to see. That girl always makes me trust my instincts more than my mind. I never use my freaking smart-ass brain when it comes to her.
My anger was unexplainable and it felt like fuel had been added to the flames. I'm the fire that's is burning furiously right now. Everyone started to recognize me, but I solely concentrated on the two people who were in the middle of the crowd.
She looks up and meets my eyes as I have already been keeping my eyes on her. I don't know what happens, but one thing I have noticed in her eyes is... fear.
The music stops and I'm walking to them. That freaking bustard has his hands on her waist the whole time and it's just another motive to make me want to kill him faster.
"May I have her back?" I swear my teeth are about to crash if I don't stop gritting them angrily trying to prevent my anger from coming out.
"Nice to see you here, Parkinson." Carson fxcking Ledwell spoke nicely and smiled. I just want to bury him six feet under the ground if there's not a law against murder.
"Ledwell." Anybody could tell that I'm madly furious by hearing my tone. Liz was looking back and forth between us.
He left and another song started to play. I asked her for a dance and she accepted it, knowing the condition of my emotions.
"Liz?" I called her, noticing that she was spacing out into her own world. Her hand was very cold as if she's a vampire. And no... Don't get me started on the Edward Cullen. I have seen it with Tina enough to run out in the middle of the movie. I don't get why girls are all swooning over the pale white vampire who speaks softly and quietly.
"Yeah?" She replied, coming back to Earth.
I asked her why she was dancing with that bustard and trust me, she stuttered so badly. She seems to be worrying about something. Looking at her tonight, I can't really stay mad, can I?
The dance was filled with me complimenting her nonstop and her getting all teased and a bit taken back by my sudden compliments.
What? Why does everytime I say something good about someone, they seem to take it as if it's a big deal. Sometimes they even react as if they just see a ghost!
I'm flabbergasted and speechless to see her tonight. My mouth automatically opened up and let out random compliments.
I'm spending the whole night near her and now she needs to go home. I've told Jack to bring them home because I need to talk to some other people.
Gabriel is one of the most influential and biggest oil companies in the world. I've always wanted to talk to their CEO or possibly Gabriel. It will be good to have some shares in their stock.
"I will inform Mr. Gabriel about your negotiation. I assume he will discuss with you about your shares and investments..."
"I will be looking forward to your response." I said.
"Sam. Jack, Tori and Liz are in danger!" I have an invisible earpiece in case the guys and I need to communicate with each other.
"We have an upcoming pro-"
"Sorry, I have to go!" I hurriedly went to the parking lot and drove madly to where Asher's telling.
"Where are they?" I asked Asher.
"They are just ahead of us some kilometers." Asher informed. "There are many cars surrounding them. I'll be waiting at the tree. You know where it is."
"OK." I have never excused myself from an important deal before. If something comes up, I always let my guys handle it. There's no way for a second chance if you miss something important. For example, a business deal.
"Please be alright!" I muttered while I was driving in full speed to the location. My brain was shouting at me for getting out of the negotiation with the manager of Gabriel, but my heart's different. It is telling me to go after them. Before, Asher has always managed these things, there's no worries about it. Plus, Jack and Tori can fight, so they can protect themselves.
However, this time, there's someone else. Someone who is precious to me even though she has entered my life just several months ago. The thought of losing her makes me lose my mind.
I would have stayed in the event and conversed with Gabriel's manager to finish my deal. That's what my brain's telling me what to do because that deal is very important to the company.
But... This time, it's different. I'm not agreeing with my brain when it comes to her. I trust my instincts and it is telling me to go and protect her at all cost because I have found something. Something that is much more important than a business deal. Something, specifically someone who got me thinking about her when I first wake up and before I go to bed and she still does that. Someone who has brought me new indescribable feelings. That particular someone who has made some impossible words to exist in my everyday dictionary. The words that I thought I would never be involved in...
