Lillian Delmer

I know that I have no match for him. Even if Sam and I gets into a combat or a spar, I will be the one who will definitely be defeated.

"Sam, fight it!" I strongly told the guy in front of me who was under the control of Carson.

"Nice try, Lilly. But I've brainwashed him and all he receives is the order that I give him." Carson smirked. "Why don't you start, Parkinson? I want her back alive, unconscious is fine."

After he had finished his words, Sam instantly fired the gun and I've come to my senses in time to dodge and escape from it.

He would've shot me in my thigh if I didn't escape in time...

There's no way I could escape from them and when I mean them, it includes Sam, Carson and his guards.

If I stay in this room, I'm definitely going to be Carson's entertainer and probably won't save the others and totally not the guy who was trying to shoot me 30 seconds ago.

The only way I can get out of this room is through what I came in, but I have to knock the door down. But first, I need to distract Sam.

I raised my gun to the ceiling, shot the lights and they busted out and shattered.

This will do...

I used this time to quickly kick the door with all my might, but trust me, if you're ever stuck in a room and the door is locked and totally not in my situation, please don't do like me and just call the repairman instead because my right foot now hurts like hell.

It was a good thing the door wasn't made out thick materials or neither it was metal. I knew there would be guards out here, so I quickly raised my gun and shot some of them.

Several of them were blocking my way, so I harshly kicked them, did a headlock and blocked their pulse on their neck for a short time to make them unconscious.

I was hurriedly running to the rooftop and sending a brief message to Tori that she had to save Asher and Jack via my smart watch.

"Tor, comeandsaveAsherandJackonthe39thfloor."

I'm not sure if she ever understands that, but I have faith in that girl because she's one super smart human.
I could've gone downstairs, but it would still be more difficult to escape because I knew myself that along the way going downstairs, I could trip and I didn't want to make that same mistake in horror movies.

I kept shooting the ones things on the way to block everyone from coming after me.

I finally reached the rooftop and it was a big empty space with no roof. The sun was shining brightly and the wind was blowing hardly as well.

I quickly loaded my gun and prepared for protection. To my surprise, I saw two people there. Two guys who waited for me to arrive.

"Nice move, but not good enough." Carson said. "Now, let's continue what we have left down there, shall we?"

How did they arrive here so fast?!

I scanned the area and realized that there's another exit which I assumed was through the mysterious door in the room.

Why am I so oblivious and stupid?!

He took the gun out and then tried shooting me, but I ran to the side and used one of my gadgets that Ed provided. I used my laser lipstick which is my favorite gadget.

I pointed the laser directly straight to Sam's grip on the gun, making him release the gun and drop it to the floor.

He groaned painfully and I then dashed out to him and kicked the gun away quite hard making it fly out of the building and possibly dropped on the ground.
