Chapter 20

Tina is now playing the violin and it is very beautiful and enjoyable. She plays it gracefully and everyone is enjoying the performance.

Why are the Parkinson very good almost at everything?? They have the looks and skills, personality too, except Mr.Obnoxious, of course!

I looked at everyone and saw something new on Asher's face. He looks at her in admiration and passion. Hmm... Well, Looks like someone has a crush ;)

This look on his face is new for me even though it's a bit subtle. I'm so gonna have to find evidence to confirm my mental theory. It would be great to have two ships on board.

Tina finishes her performance and we clap our hands, showing our gratitude and enjoyment. She smiled widely and came to sit next to Tori as it was Alissa's turn.

She took the brown ukulele and played a song while singing it. It is one of my favorites, 'Love Yourself' by Justin Bieber. She has a lovely voice and the song suits well. After the whole song finished, she took the ukulele back to its place and went back to her Tori's seat as we clapped and complimented her.

It's now Tori's turn and I already know that she will be great. She's the one who is good at guitar.

"I will be playing 'Dear No One' by Tori Kelly." She said and grabbed the guitar which looked very expensive and high quality.

As soon as she sang, it was like watching her in the music room at her house. She was amazing and I didn't even forget a bit to look at Jack and see his reaction. I can't help, but grinned widely in my head when I saw his expression.

He is looking at her with his lips parted, staring at her, speechless and awestruck. It is like she is the only girl he can see in this room. Asher and Sam must've seen their friend's expression since I saw Sam mouthed 'Whipped' to Asher and I. We all chuckled and Jack glared at us then went back to staring at Tori.

Tina has finished her guitar solo and now it's my turn. I'm starting to feel nervous and frightened at the same time.

"You will be great, Lizzie." Bella whispered to me as Tori came and took a seat. Tori turned to me and gave a supportive smile and I returned back with a hesitant and sly smile, wondering if I chose the right choice.

I walked to the Grand Piano and took a seat there. I can feel everybody's stares on me. My shaking hands are now hovering over the chords.

I was too anxious that I hit a wrong note on the first time.

"Sorry." I muttered an apology and started to master up and be brave with my figure sitting straighter than before. I start to play and sing the song which definitely describes how I am feeling while I know that my voice is trembling a bit and flashbacks are starting to come back. All I'm doing is to try and imagine that I'm just alone in the music room with only me and the piano I'm playing.

"I spend too much time thinking about who I'm supposed to be.
I play by everybody's rules that don't seem right to me.
I'm cool and polite, on the outside
When I get a chance, I run and I hide

I was so lost in the music which I was playing and singing that I didn't even realized there are other people playing the other instruments. Due to the new sound of several different instruments were being played, I looked up at saw that Tina was playing a guitar, the same for Tori. Alissa was now drumming and with my hands still playing the piano, we're like a band. It was like a scene in the movie.
