Liz Collins
After Sam had dropped me off, I entered the house safely and went to change to better comfortable clothes.
It is around 4 in the morning. I'm not really sleepy because I have had a nap in the afternoon and during the drive back in the car with Sam. I just decide that I will go downstairs and relax at the comfy sofa in the living room, possibly watch Korean dramas, too.
Jack... You better bring Tori back home! I don't like sharing my best friend, you know, but nah... For you, it's an exemption.
It's 6 o'clock right now and I'm hungry. I was about to go to the kitchen when the door opened and came in the person I wanted to know what has happened.
"Soooo, Tori, how was your date?" I teased her as she came in.
"H-Hey!" She stuttered and I noticed something new about her.
Bright red rosy cheeks, flushed face, restrained grin, stutter and most importantly, plumped and swollen red lips. OMG... The symptoms!!
"OH MY GOODNESS... YOU TWO KISSED, DIDN'T YOU?!" I beamed excitedly when her face was turning 50 shades of red.
"Um..." She tried to hide a big smile, but it was still obvious.
"Come on, Tor! Tell me everything and don't you dare miss a single information." I warned her.
"We're officially a couple." She mumbled with sparks in her eyes. As for my eyes, they widened twice as big as saucers.
"Finally! I'm so happy for the both of you... so so much." I smiled widely and hugged her as she let go of her restrained smile.
"Me too." She grinned widely and I couldn't be more happy.
"Can you tell me now?" I asked her.
"Tell you later." She replied with happiness lacing in her voice. "I have to go change first."
"Fine." I sighed and went to the kitchen. She must have been tired. Sally then came in and helped me make my favorite, pancakes with strawberries and fresh whipped cream.
"Where were you two yesterday? I know you didn't come back home before midnight." Sally asked me.
"Oh. I was hanging out with Sam and Tori was with Jack." I answered her question.
"Hmm... OK." She had a smile on her face and I really don't know why.
"By the way, Jack and Tori are officially a couple now. I'm so happy for them." I told her and her smile gets wider.
"REALLY? I should congratulate her then and how about you, Liz?"
"Me? What is it?" I turned to her, clueless like a lost puppy.
"Oh! Nothing." She replied with a small smile.
Tori entered the kitchen minutes later after we had made our breakfast.
"What do you want to do today?" Tori asked me.
"Don't you want to hang out with your boyfriend, eh?" I nudged her with a teasing smile.
"Actually, he told me to rest, but I'm not exhausted and he also had to travel to Paris with Asher and Sam for a business trip." Tori told me.
"I wonder how they can interact with many different foreigners every week. Don't they have their personal interpreters?"
"Liz, they have gone to countless countries around the world making deals and do business with the people there for countless of times. I'm sure they have their interpreters, but mostly they speak by themselves."
"Wow... How many languages can they even speak?"
"I'm sure they can speak several languages. The only thing I know is that each of them can speak different languages from each other, so it is easier to travel when they are together."
"Oh... Anyway, so, you're staying at home?"
"Not really. I got a call from Alex and he wanted us to meet him and his fiance at his house."
"Then why don't you hurry up and dress up, now?" Sally spoke and ushered us to go.
"Alright." We got up and changed.
After a long drive which is about twenty minutes, a small villa comes into view. The gate opened and we drove in. I saw Alex standing in front of the house, smiling at us as we were walking to him.
"Hey!" Alex looked at us.
"What's up?" Tori asked him with a curious look.
"Sophia needed help with the wedding preparation and I couldn't think of anyone else besides you two."
We nodded and went into the house. It is pretty obvious that it's a new house since every furniture seems to be newly placed and just gotten out of the box.
The three of us entered the living room and I saw a very beautiful and tall woman, sitting on the sofa. She looked up and stood up.
"Hello!" She smiled brightly.
"Sophia!" Tori hugged her as she hugged back.
"Tori, love to see you again." She then released the hug and turned to me.
"You must be Liz. I'm Sophia, Alex's fiance." She came to me and hugged me which was putting me off guard.
"It is nice to meet you, Sophia." I gave her a small smile. She is slightly taller than me. I'm about 5'51 and I guess she is 5'57. She seems to be so welcoming and nice, friendly too, may I add. Not like other women who usually get extremely jealous when they meet their fiance's friends.
"I will let you girls talk." Alex gave a kiss to Sophia's forehead and walked off to his car.
"Where is he going?" Tori asked Sophia.
"To try out the clothes and manage the reservation." She smiled happily.
"By the way, can you help me with these?"
"Sure!" We were helping her with the invitations and the ribbons. Plus, we bonded while doing it. I would say Sophia is very considering and easy going. Alex truly deserves her and he is perfect for Sophia as well.
"Liz, can you please get the tape in the cupboard there?" Sophia asked me politely.
"OK!" I went and got it. I heard whispers when I was near the living room.
"I think we should tell Liz, Sophia." Tori muttered quietly.
"I don't know...." Sophia trailed off.
"Tell me what?" I asked them as I entered the room. They were slightly taken back by my sudden presence.
I took a seat at the same sofa and looked at them curiously.
"I guess so." Sophia turned to me with seriousness.
"What should you tell me?" I raised my eyebrows.
"I know who you are, Liz." Sophia stated with a calm tone.
"Huh?" I looked at her, clueless, not sure if she meant my true identity.
"I'm sure you don't recognize me, princess." Sophia called me and that did ring a bell in my head.
"What do you mean?" I am not sure if she clearly knows me. Did Alex and Tori tell her about me?
"I don't think you remember me." She chuckled lightly.
"I'm Sophia Stephens also known as Sophie when I was in Colorado."
My eyes widened big time and tears were about to spill.
"Sophie?!" I gasped as she smiled. "No way... Y-You were gone..."
"I moved out and wanted to live in the city then I met Alex after several months later." Her eyes were brimming with tears as we were hugging each other tightly while Tori came and joined us, too.
"It's good to see you again, princess."
