"WE'RE NOT GONNA MAKE IT!!"
"Shut up or else we're ALL gonna die." Tori scolded and rolled her eyes. "Stop being a scaredy-cat, will you?!"
Tori is standing there, looking bored than ever after she did her spinnys and jumpys whereas the two of us, well... we're trying our best crawling, bending and leaning to make sure not a single hair of ours touches the red laser.
"Rick, your left foot! Your knees should be bending down 90°. Lilly, keep your arms to your body." Tori sighed.
"How the hell do I know how many degrees that is?!" Anxiousness and annoyance filled his voice.
"Ohhhhh, I forgot you got only 4/100 in math." Tori smirked.
"Just shut up, woman!" Rick muttered.
"You know, I heard that, right?" Tori glared.
"You were meant to, anyway."
These two should really sort out their issues after we finish this task, well... after we all survive first.
"Finally!" Ed's voice boomed in my ears with pride.
My vulnerable ears....
"Are you trying to make us deaf?" Rick grunted angrily. Suddenly, all of the lasers disappeared and with me, having my left leg up and my right arm lifting in midair while being unstable and having Rick closely behind my back, we all fell to the ground harshly, more like Rick's giant and heavy body on me.
"Ugh..."
"Como on... You two, GET UP AND GO!" This is Tori when she's in a mission or when she spars. Serious af!
"Chop Chop guys, we don't have all day to save this girl's bossy boss." She pointed at me and I glared.
All of a sudden, we all hear a loud explosion and people screaming and footsteps rushing.
"Let's go." We all rushed upstairs and found ourselves in what looks like a janitor's closet.
"Wow, what a great way to get into this building, Ed." I sarcastically said through the earpiece.
"Thank you." He plainly replied.
We rushed outside and the scenario before us was a disaster. The tables have turned, broken glass everywhere and there are holes in windows and curtains.
"Ed, where are they?" I asked him.
"Ed... Edward..." I didn't hear him reply.
"EDWARD!" Tori shouted.
There's no voice coming from Ed, but what we're hearing in our earpiece makes us all go pale.
"He's in danger." Rick said when we're hearing the shotguns in our ears.
"You should go and help Ed." Tori ordered. "Lilly and I will find Sam and the others."
We parted ways and Tori and I were trying to figure how to find them.
"This building is too big. It would take a whole day to figure out where they can be." Tori uttered when we reached the hallway.
"We don't have a whole day." I said.
Come on, Lilly. Think! What can we do?
An idea suddenly came to my mind.
"Gadgets!" I looked at Tori. "We can use the gadgets."
I averted my eyes to the corner of the room.
Bingo!
There's a camera in here. I turned to Tori and she nodded. She took something out which I clearly know that can help us find Sam.
