Liz Collins

It has been two weeks since I started my career as a designer. My colleagues made many various designs and Mr.Parkinson is the one who tells us the modifications. My interactions with Mr.Obnoxious are just a bit better. What I mean is that we start talking normally with less hatred or glares at each other. But that doesn't result in us talking casually like friends do. We just have a civil conversation, that's all.

"We will have a meeting tomorrow at 7. Don't be late because I don't tolerate late employees." Mr.Parkinson seriously directed as he came in our office room.

"Yes, sir!" We all replied simultaneously. Then he walked out.

I'm working on my paperwork and designs when Tori calls me on my phone.

"Hey, let's go have lunch at the new restaurant near here."

"Sure. Wait for me at the lobby, I need to finish this document, first." I inform her as I quickly typed the files into the computer.

"OK! Hurry up, I'm hungry."

"You and your starving stomach." I rolled my eyes even though she couldn't see me.

I hurriedly went down to meet Tori and go to have lunch with her. I am also hungry and I don't want Tori to wait any longer. I saw Tori standing up near the sofa, when she noticed me.

"Come on, I'm hungry, too." I mumble because this morning I only ate an apple.

"Yeah! Let's go, Sam!" Tori said to me and turned to the figure behind her.

Wait.... That obnoxious guy is having lunch with us?! I don't even know if I will enjoy my food, now. But whatever, I'm hungry right now, so I don't care.

"OK! By the way, Asher and Jack are coming, too. They're already on their way to the restaurant." My freaking employer said as he was checking his phone and standing up from the sofa.

"Great! Let's go. I'm so hungry that I can eat two set of those giant burgers now." Tori muttered as she dragged me to the door.

I have met Asher and Jack. They are also Mr.Parkinson and Tori's close friends. I actually get along with them, but still I don't talk much with everyone.

Asher is a 26-year-old guy who is smart and handsome as The blue-eyed jerk and Jack. The three are young billionaires who each own their personal companies. But they also work together to help each other.

As for Jack, he is 27 years old. I considered him as the kindest one out of the three. He is the Prince Charming each girl wishes to be with.
And he seems to be very close with Tori. Of course! I'm low-key shipping the two. Smirk*

We arrived at the restaurant not long ago and quickly saw Asher and Jack sitting at a table which is enough for the five of us. I also discover that tons of girls in and out the restaurant were definitely checking the three bachelors out, eyeing, winking and flirting with them.

I mentally rolled my eyes, knowing these typical gestures. Of course it has to be this way since they are the hottest topic on every single tablets, especially the pompous guy standing in front of me. I saw that some women were throwing glares and daggers at both me and Tori, but that didn't bother us at all. Ain't our problem!

"Hey, guys!" Tori greeted the two seated tall figures.

"Hey!"  "What's up?" They replied simultaneously.

We took our seats which resulted in me sitting across from The Jerk and Tori across from Jack. The middle was accompanied by Asher. It was a round table surrounded by a cirque black lounge.

The waitress came and we ordered, not unaware of her flirting with the guys who were sitting with me and Tori, specifically the guy across from me. Again with the flirting gestures being donated to him and the glares being thrown to me.

Are girls mostly like this when they see these types of guys?!

Our food later arrived and I was eating in silence while the other 4 were talking and joking. I wasn't engaging on the conversation because my mind was exclusively fixed on my steaming skillet with a medium rare grilled steak on it.

"So, what do you think, Liz?" Tori turned to me and I looked up and found two pairs of curious eyes on me.

"Huh?" I blinked swiftly while I was about to put a chunk of meat in my mouth.

"She must've been into her own LA LA Land while we were talking." The guy, opposite of me, scoffed and mocked, purposely and directly at me.

"Why don't you do me a favor and keep your nasty mouth sealed?" I said politely as I was throwing sharp daggers at him.

"Tch... You know you can't keep these kissable lips shut, don't you?" He smirked, which was a motive for me to bury him six feet under the ground if I weren't working for him.

"Just shut up!!" I huffed, tired of even arguing with him. The more he talks, the less I'm speaking.

"Next time, remind me to bring popcorn when watching these two." I heard Tori whispered and I instantly turned to the three heads who were exempt from the recent quarrel, glancing at her, indicating a 'shut up'.

"Woh! You two should get along. I thought identical things go well with one another." Jack expressed as he looked at us amusingly.

"Yeah. You guys are like fire and fire." Asher agrees as he takes a sip of his Cappuccino.

"How does that even make me and him the same??? In fact, we're not even near that word." I moved my forefinger, gesturing the two if us, with an incredibly awful look on my face.

"Tsk... Don't you know, she isn't even my type." The Idiot scoffed.

"And I was about to tell you you're not species." I rolled my eyes, even though those words did offend me a little.

"Whatever!! Maybe you two might actually get on ideally well with each other." Tori plainly stated, gazing at us.

"Heck, NO!!!!" We refused simultaneously, staring at her then flaring at each other with burning flames in our eyes.

"Hmm.... Mhm...." They all raised their eyebrows while I was burning inside, thinking of the cruelest and fastest way to murder my so-called boss.

"I hate you!" He and I spoke again at the same time with me crossing my arms and him, glaring at the three.

"Yeah.... Right... " They all smirked.

"SHUT UP!!" We snapped contemporarily again for the third time.

"OK... But I'm not taking back my words about you two." Asher surrendered.

Ugh....Make a note not to have lunch with them again.... Appetite definitely lost its way internally in my body.
