Liz Collins

"Have fun. And Jack, please bring Tori back home in one piece." I smirked at Jack as Tori glared at me.

"Yes, Liz. I will." He smiled brightly and I somehow saw that he was trying not to be nervous.

"Bye!" I waved at them. They grow up so fast... Wait... Why am I sounding like a proud mother?

I'm currently chilling out on the couch, watching several movies. It is getting dark now.

My phone rang and who the heck is babe?! I didn't have any contacts with that name and a kissing emoji!

Ugh.. He must have changed it when he had my phone.

"Get ready. I will be there at 6:30pm." He ended the call before I can even utter a word. Why do I have to meet a guy like him?

6:30?! What?! It is 6:20 now. Why didn't he tell me before this? I'm still in my comfort zone.

I quickly took a warm shower and changed into a knee length long sleeved white dress. I have to be presentable because we are having dinner with his family, including his father this time.

The bell rang and I went to open the door to be greeted by the incredibly perfect billionaire everyone is talking. He is a definition of perfection when it comes to his appearance, but his personality is totally the opposite.

"Good. You have now understood the term 'Get ready'. Congratulations!" He charmingly smiled and joked.

"Let's just go." I have brought the family a basket of fruits because my parents have always taught me not to be bare handed whenever I am visiting someone.

I really miss my family. Mom, Dad, Ethan and other people who lived there with us.

"Asher is coming or not?" I turned him as he was driving in his Mercedes.

"No. Tina is hanging out with him, so several of us will have dinner which means Mom, Dad, You and me. The others are all going out."

"Oh!" I am starting to get extremely nervous. There will be only four of us and I'm sure it will be awkward.

"Dad wants to meet you and I thought you wanted to meet him too, right?" He mocked me, reminding of the time when he treated me like a sack of rice.
"Y-Yeah." Help me... I'm worse at interacting with new people.

"Don't worry. I'm sure they won't be hard on you... I think." He shrugged.

"You think?!" I scoffed.

"Oh yeah, I forgot. Bella wants to meet you, so she will be there." He tries to keep me calm which wasn't really much helping.

At least, Bella will be there. I'm gonna be fine, right?

We drove into the familiar mansion and got out. When I stepped in the big wide door, Bella had already greeted me with a tight hug.

"Lizzie~" She squealed as I bent down and hugged her back. I saw Sam chuckled and smirked at my pet name.

"Let's go in." Sam told us to walk inside while I had my left hand carrying the big basket full of fruits and my right index finger being wrapped by Bella's petite fingers.

"Liz, welcome dear." Lauren, Sam's mother, came and gave me a hug.

"Good evening, Lauren." I hugged her back and gave a genuine smile. "I brought this." I gave her the basket.

"Ah... Thank you." She took it. "You can go spare your time, dinner hasn't finished yet."

"Do you need help?" I offered her a help which she declined.
