Josh: Melanie, I'm worried about you.

Josh: Come on, at least reply to me once. Where have you been?

Josh: You've been gone for 6 days now. Your parents are extremely worried, and so am I.

Josh: Debby has been a lot of help, but it's not working whatever she does to make me happy.

Melanie: Josh..

Melanie: I'm fine.

Josh: Where are you?

Melanie: Somewhere but, at least I'm still in Ohio!

Josh: That's good.

Melanie: Josh, can I ask you something?

Josh: What?

Melanie: Are you happy with Debby?

Josh: Yeah, I am. Really happy.

Melanie felt her heart drop.

Josh: Why the question, Crybaby?

Melanie: I'm one of your best friends and I wanna make sure you're okay with the person you're with; you know how I am. Can I also ask you something else?

Josh: Sure thing.

Melanie: What do you do, when you like someone, but they like someone else? And they're completely blind that they don't see how you're feeling, yet it's right in front of them?

Josh: That sounds pretty detailed, Crybaby.

Josh: Wait a second.. are you realizing that you like Ashley, Mel?

Melanie: Sure.

Josh: Wow, Melanie.. I'm happy for you. Well, try and go easy on her or whoever that you like. Be steady and straightforward and tell them how you feel. In the end, Ashley's gonna be extremely lucky.

Melanie sighed and shook her head.

No, Josh. You don't understand.

She quickly backspaced, deleting the draft and started typing.

Melanie: Okay, thanks Josh.

Melanie: Another thing. Why isn't Tyler nor Jenna picking up?

Josh: What?

Melanie: Try calling 'em.

Josh quickly went to his recent calls and scrolled down, looking for Tyler's contact.

"Tyler, pick up.." He mumbled when the phone was still ringing.

Josh furrowed his eyebrows at the missed call. Tyler never usually misses his calls and if he did, he'd text him with an explanation a few minutes or an hour later.

Leave a message after the beep.
"Tyler, man, Melanie says you and Jenna haven't been answering your calls. Call me back, okay?"

He hung up and went back to Melanie.

Josh: He didn't answer.

Melanie: How many times did you call him?

Josh: Once.

Melanie: I called him and Jenna about 8, they're not answering.

Melanie this time called Jenna, and it was the same.

"Jenna, hi, this is Melanie.. um.. are you with Tyler? We're, me and Josh, are just a little worried cause neither of you have been, uh, answering.. uh. Please call me."
