30. Illegal

* Author's Pov *

Rachel came home, shocked at Jin's words. She opened the door but never thought she would see those two kissing. As soon as Mia noticed her she pulled away from the boy.

" Rachel.... I thought you would already be sleeping....." Mia said kind of embarrassed.

" I just.... I was..... Wha..... How did this happen?" Rachel asked in confusion. " You know what..... Tell me tomorrow, I'm not in the right mind now." Rachel said and left the both of them in the living room.

" I should probably go now...." The boy said.

" Yeah, it's very late you need to rest well before practice." Mia answered.

" You should come to the company sometimes." The boy said while looking her in the eyes.

" I will.... See you...." She said while walking him to the door.

" See you...." He said. He took a few steps but suddenly felt his arm being pulled. He turned around and Mia gave him a kiss on the lips.

" Goodnight." She said before winking and going back into the apartment.

The next morning Mia woke up first still feeling butterflies in her stomach. She waited for Rachel to wake up. Usually, it did take long before she woke up. But today it took longer. Mia was getting worried. She decided to go to Rachel's room.

When she got in she found a ball of Rachel covered with her blanket on the bed. She could only see Rachel's face that stuck out of the covers. She was wearing her glasses already which means she was awake.

" Rachel are you awake?" Mia asked while walking in.

" I am...." Rachel answered with a small voice.

" Why aren't you getting up? " Mia then asked.

" There's no point in getting up..... " Rachel answered.

At that point, Mia knew what she had to do, and she got out of the room. When Rachel was like this only one person could help. A few minutes have passed and Mia came back. This time she wasn't alone.

" Honey, what's wrong?" Miss Johnson said.

" Mom?" Rachel let out a small whimper.

Her mom went to sit down on the mattress.

" Tell me...." Miss Johnson said.

Rachel got up and started to hug her mom.

" I hurt his feelings, mom. I knew somewhere he liked me but I was too scared I might be wrong about my feelings again. But he confessed, and I still made him wait. If I wasn't so full of doubts at that time, none of this would have happened. And now he wants to move on...." Rachel said while crying her eyes out.

" Omg Jin confessed?! " Mia asked surprised. " Why didn't you tell me? " There was a slight tint of anger in her tone.

" It was the night of the wedding. You were in such a bad place at that time...." Rachel looked up at Mia.

" Omg, this is why I love and hate you.... Yah! Does it look like I'm some bullshit ass friend that only cares about herself? You always do this Rachel.... You should say these things to me even if I'm in a bad place... Don't you get it... If you are happy then I am happy! " Mia scolded her best friend.

The room went silent for a while. Then Rachel started to cry. " I love youu."

Mia couldn't help but choke up as she heard her best friend. " I love you toooooo." She said and gave her a big hug. " Now tell us what happened yesterday!"
