Today I was telling my husband of two years that I was finally pregnant with our first child. I was so excited because I was going to do a photo shoot of the announcement and I was going to show him the pictures afterwards.
"Babe do you have to go today?" He asked as I was getting ready to go take pictures. "Yes babe I do. I won't be long I promise." I said going over to him and kissing him. "I'm going to miss you." He said and I smiled. "I'm going to miss you too but when I get back you can sit with me and look through all the pictures okay?" I asked and he nodded.
I grabbed my camera and said goodbye to him one last time and went off to the location I was taking the few pictures I was going to take. I had to make believe that I was doing an actual photo shoot, so I had stopped at Starbucks first and then went off to the location.
I hung up three Cardinals jersey's and then took some with baseballs with writing on them to let him know when I'm due and just super cute stuff. After I was done, I went to our favorite restaurant and got us food.
"Babe I'm home! And I come with food!" I yelled as I walked into the house and to the kitchen. "Mmmm I missed you." He said as he wrapped his arms around my waist. "I missed you too Yadi, I got you your favorite." I said handing him his food.
"And this is why you're the best wife ever." He said as he kissed my cheek and sat down at the island with me and we ate. "So when can I see the pictures?" He asked and I smiled. "Right now, come on let's go to the office." I said as I threw everything away and put the silverware in the sink.
He followed me up to the office and I plugged in the card to my compute and the pictures popped up. "What is this? A pregnancy announcement?" He asked and I nodded and he squinted and read the baseball over again. "Wait, does that say Baby Molina?" He asked and I smiled.
"Yes it does, I'm pregnant." I said and he had the biggest smile on his face and he turned to me and hugged me. "I can't believe I'm going to be a dad. I love you so much babe." He said as he kissed me.
"I love you too Yadi. I can't wait for this journey with you."
