As I was watching the boys celebrate after José got the last out of the freaking World Series to win, I couldn't help but think about what I'm about to tell my boyfriend of five years, I'm pregnant with our first child. 

The wives and girlfriend were let onto the field and I found George right away and he picked me up and spun me around and kissed me. "Babe, we did it! We freaking won." He said and I smiled at him and just as I was about to say something, they pulled him away and I knew it was for the MVP. 

"George what do you have to say about all this?" Ken asked him and he got the biggest smile on his face. "Honestly, this is a dream come true, not only for me but for my teammates too. We've been pursuing this ever since we started the season and we weren't going home unless it was with that trophy." He said and I smiled. 

"Who do you have to thank for all this?" Ken asked. "My parents and siblings and my girlfriend Maddie. She's been with me ever since I got called up and was in the minors with me and I couldn't have done this without her. She's been my rock through the tough times and she always knows had to make the bad games go away." He said and I couldn't help but shed a tear. 

"I know she has something to tell you though, so go on and celebrate with her and congratulations again." He said and George nodded and came over to me with a worried look on his face. "What do you have to tell me babe?" He asked and I smiled. 

"I'm pregnant George. We're having a baby." I said and he almost dropped his MVP trophy. "Are you serious?" He asked as he got the biggest smile on his face. "I'm serious, you're going to be a daddy." I said. 

He put the trophy down and lifted me up and kissed me. "I love you so much Maddie, I can't wait to have a baby with you." He said and I smiled. "I love you too George, and I can't wait either."
