Remus was very extravagant when it came to assignments.
He would have every heading perfectly aligned and use up as much parchment as possible to make his work look neat.
And that was why he could never understand how someone could exhibit such misery as Sirius did while using parchment.
The essay which would occupy a scroll or two of parchment for Remus, would probably be covered in less than quarter a scroll for Sirius.
