Whenever Remus was sleepy or hungry, it was near impossible to get him to do something. And those were the times when Sirius would come in the most handy.

Sirius (rather cheerfully): "And there goes... All of Gamp's Laws written and copied."
Remus (lifting head from the desk, probably sleepy): "Have you done your work?"
Sirius (as if proud of his academic achievement): "Yup! All of it."
Remus: "Good. Now do mine as well."
Sirius (thoroughly baffled): "What did you just say?"
Remus (handing him the quills and parchment): "I know you're not deaf and I know you heard me clearly. Now get working."
Sirius: "I believe yesterday was nowhere near a half moon either... But yeah whatever. You owe me now."
Remus (yawning): "if the Professor happens to come by here, do let me know."
