Remus was rather generalized. And by that, I mean that he always looked on the general aspects of stuff, ignoring the critical ones.
It was really difficult for him to choose between clothes and other objects because he just saw them as general items.
He had no favorites. Everything was always equal to him.
That's why, to the utter amazement of his friends, he had no favorite color, clothing, accessory etc.
The only time his favoritism sense would kick in would be when he'd be asked to pick a dessert or a drink.
