Out of the many peculiar hobbies Remus Lupin had and cherished, the foremost was baking. He loved baking anything that had chocolate in it. Cakes, pastries, cookies, you name it. Once he had bought chocolate chip cookies that he had baked himself to his friends at the start of their fifth year and the three of them were blown away by how delicious the cookies were.
Sirius had even taken a sample of it to the Trolley Witch in the Hogwarts Express, to show her that the cookies were better than anything she could ever come up with. Let's just say that the Trolley Witch got mortally offended at that and Sirius had to face her wrath for the tenth time (because every single time the Marauders had boarded the Express, Sirius had in some way or other managed to piss off the Trolley Witch and she had never refrained from brandishing her iron talons at him).
