I watched Piper drag Annabeth off. I smiled. 

                          
The wide smile on her face was real. Flashbacks of when we were young flashed through my mind.

                          
The same grey eyes. The same bright smile.

                          
But they were all different. Her eyes were dull, just slightly glinting from the grin.

                          
Her smile was dimmed and inexperienced, like she hadn't practiced it in a while. 

                          
I sighed.

                          
What happened Annabeth? 

                          
Ha ha sorry... not dead. It's been over a month whoops I'm sorry I forgot. Hope you guys aren't too mad at me I'll write another chapter.
